The popular arcade game Ball X Pit will receive its first free update later this month, adding new content for players.
I’m so hyped for the Regal Update dropping on January 26th, 2026! It’s bringing a ton of cool new stuff to Breakout, that game I just can’t stop playing.
As mentioned earlier, this update includes two new characters to play as, eight new ball types, and plenty of other discoveries to be made.
The first new character is called the Carouser, and they have spinning balls that orbit around them. This looks like a powerful ability for fighting enemies up close.
When you play as the Falconer, instead of launching balls normally, they’re fired from falcons positioned on the left and right sides of the screen.
Ball X Pit is getting three major updates, starting with The Regal Update. The other two updates will arrive in April and July, and all of them will be available for free.
