The Apprentice is back on BBC One in less than a week for its 20th season, and viewers can expect a few changes this time around.
This year, The Apprentice will feature a larger group of 20 candidates, with the first episode filmed in Hong Kong. Also, the BBC has replaced the usual post-show discussion program, ‘You’re Fired,’ with a new show called ‘The Apprentice: Unfinished Business.’
After Tom Allen left the show, Angela Scanlon was announced as the new host, and a few changes have been made.
The new season of the show won’t include the audience vote that normally decides if a fired contestant was unfairly eliminated.
Similar to ‘The Traitors: Uncloaked’, ‘Unfinished Business’ will likely feature the eliminated contestant and celebrity guests discussing what happened in each episode.

According to the BBC, the new show ‘Unfinished Business’ will feature interviews with each contestant who is eliminated each week.
I’m so excited that each week, I get to watch Angela and the judging panel break down everything that happened on the latest task, along with the candidate who was fired! They really give us a detailed look at what went wrong โ and right โ and share all sorts of interesting behind-the-scenes information. It’s fascinating!
As a huge fan, I was thrilled to hear about the new series! Honestly, after recently facing Lord Sugar in the boardroom myself, my appreciation for this iconic show has only grown โ I absolutely love it!
As a huge fan, I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining The Apprentice for its 20th season! I’m so excited to get all dressed up and spend each week chatting with the candidates and other fans about everything that happens. Hopefully, we can all make sense of the chaos and maybe even pick up some useful business tips along the way!
Paul Broadbent, Programme Director at Naked (part of Fremantle), also noted that as ‘The Apprentice’ nears its twentieth series, the show remains incredibly successful and popular.
We’re updating our after-show for our dedicated viewers, offering a fun and interactive way to break down each episode with both video and audio content. We’re excited to announce that former contestant Angela Scanlon will be hosting and encouraging fans to participate in the discussion.
You can watch The Apprentice: Unfinished Business on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Sounds starting Thursday, January 29th at 10:05 PM.
