The One Piece manga is quickly approaching its ending, and Luffy’s incredible strength after years of training is now clear. Since he unlocked the full potential of his Devil Fruit power in the Wano Country arc, fans have been discussing the connection between him and the legendary Sun God Nika, especially after Zunesha announced Joyboy’s return. It’s becoming apparent that Luffy, Joyboy, and the Sun God are all linked through this powerful fruit and a shared history. The current story on Egghead Island shows that Joyboy, who lived a thousand years ago during a lost period of history, had abilities very similar to Luffy’s. He was the original pirate and led a massive fight against twenty nations in a great war. After Luffy’s recent awakening, he seems to have inherited the title of Joyboy and unlocked the devastating true power of his Devil Fruit.
Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation lets him do more than just stretch – he can also change the world around him, similar to how some Devil Fruits work. While his powers are incredible thanks to his Devil Fruit and strong Haki, his real strength comes from his ability to inspire others. He’s great at reading people and has a natural charisma that makes people want to follow him, and ultimately, that ability will be even more valuable than his physical strength.
Luffy Already Has All The Allies He Needs To Win The Final War in One Piece

For a long time, the story has been building towards a massive, world-altering war. The conflict will be devastating, completely reshaping everything. Imu and the World Government possess incredible power that Luffy and his crew can’t face on their own. They’ll need help from a huge number of allies – and fortunately, Luffy has gathered many throughout his adventures. He also has the powerful Poseidon, Shirahoshi, fighting with him.
Luffy is gaining strength and allies as he moves closer to a major conflict. Wano Country holds a powerful ancient weapon called Pluton, while the World Government controls another called Uranus. Plus, Luffy can rely on the Straw Hat Grand Fleet for help whenever he needs it. Despite the challenges ahead, his connections and growing power suggest he’s likely to win the coming war.
