The Traitors has quickly become a global hit, with versions now airing in over 20 countries and winning numerous awards.

The latest season of the UK version of The Traitors has ended, and in a surprising turn, the two Traitors successfully deceived everyone and shared a prize of £47,875.

Shortly after the fourth season finished, BBC One broadcast the Irish version of the show, and it’s already proving popular with Irish audiences.

With so many versions of The Traitors available, you might be wondering how many there are and where to watch them. Keep reading to find out!

The Traitors UK

Who is the host? Claudia Winkleman

How many seasons are there? 5

The UK version of The Traitors premiered in 2022, hosted by Claudia Winkleman. It’s filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands and has featured four seasons with regular people and one with celebrities.

The Traitors Ireland

Where can I watch? RTÉ Player and BBC iPlayer

Who is the host? Siobhán McSweeney

How many seasons are there? 1

The series first aired in Ireland in 2025, and now the BBC is releasing it on BBC Three and iPlayer in the next few weeks.

The series is filmed at Slane Castle, an 18th century venue in County Meath, Ireland.

The Traitors US

Who is the host? Alan Cumming

How many seasons are there? 4

The American version of The Traitors is filmed at Ardross Castle, just like the original. Since it began, the US edition has included celebrity contestants from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The Traitors Australia

Who is the host? Rodger Corser/Gretel Killeen

How many seasons are there? 2

The Australian version of The Traitors premiered in 2022 and had a second season in 2023. Although cancelled in 2024, the show will return for a third season in 2026. Rodger Corser will no longer host, and Gretel Killeen will take his place.

The new series will feature a cast of reality TV personalities.

The Traitors New Zealand

The Traitors New Zealand debuted in 2023, with Paul Henry hosting the first two seasons. The show will be back in 2026, now hosted by Madeleine Sami.

De Verraders (Netherlands)

The Dutch version, ‘De Verraders,’ was the original ‘Traitors’ series and has run for the longest amount of time compared to all the other international versions.

The show has had five full seasons, plus three special Halloween versions and one shorter series that streamed on Videoland, RTL’s streaming platform.

The Traitors Canada

I was so excited when The Traitors Canada came out in 2023! What’s really cool is they made two versions – one for all of Canada in English, and another just for Quebec in French. Karine Vanasse hosts both, which is awesome!

De Verraders (Belgium)

The Belgian version of The Traitors is called De Verraders, and it’s the third installment of the series. As of now, four complete seasons are available to stream.

Traitors: Igra Na predateli (Bulgaria)

The Traitors Bulgaria aired its first series last year and features 25 celebrities.

Zrádci (Czech Republic)

The Czech Republic launched its version of The Traitors in 2024, and a second season followed in 2025.

Forræder (Norway)
