CD Projekt RED, working together with Virtuos, has planned to launch the version 2.3 update for the game Cyberpunk 2077 on July 17. This date coincides with the release of the Ultimate Edition for Mac. A subsequent release for Nintendo Switch is also in the pipeline, but not yet specified. The update includes features like AutoDrive and Delamain taxi service to help navigate destinations automatically, along with new missions, vehicles, enhancements to Photo Mode, and various other upgrades.

■ Version 2.3 Update
The most recent free upgrade for “Cyberpunk 2077” is version 2.3, which was developed in partnership with CD Projekt RED and Virtuos. This update introduces novel methods for navigating the streets of Night City.
Now, players have the luxury to unwind and let their vehicle handle the task at hand. By operating a personal vehicle, they can select or set a destination marker and engage AutoDrive for fully autonomous navigation. Moreover, Night City’s top-tier driverless taxi service is now up and running, allowing players to hail a Delamain cab, input their desired location, and then sit back as the chauffeur handles the driving—for an understandable eurodollar fare, of course. Regardless of which transport method they choose, passengers will be treated to captivating camera angles, providing them with a fresh perspective on Night City’s sights.
If you’d rather drive yourself, Update 2.3 has introduced some fresh options for you – a motorcycle and three new cars are now available, among them the recently launched Yaiba Semimaru from the “Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown” comic. You can unlock these rides by completing related missions.
In Photo Mode, a variety of fresh settings and personalization choices are now available. You can adjust the weather and time to get that ideal snap, and pick from more NPC characters, outfits, and poses. Plus, there are new stickers and frames, and players can control how NPCs respond during shooting – with improved customization options for head, eyes, shoulders in any pose, giving you greater mastery over each shot.
Furthermore, Update 2.3 brings some new technological advancements, such as compatibility with VRR consoles, support for AMD FSR4 and AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, Intel XeSS 2.0, enhanced HDR settings, among others. For a comprehensive list of all the changes in this update, you can refer to the official patch notes.
On July 17th, Update 2.3 is scheduled for release on Cyberpunk 2077 and the Ultimate Edition of the game for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Apple Mac computers with 16GB or more RAM. The update will come to Nintendo Switch 2 at a later time.
Right now, you can grab a copy of “Cyberpunk 2077” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch (version 2), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. However, the version 2.3 update is currently not accessible for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions.
