The confirmation is out – Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie, will soon be back on Albert Square. The wait won’t be much longer.
In my own words, I last caught sight of Alfie in June, as he bid adieu to Walford in a dash to Barcelona, following Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). To throw everyone off the scent, he informed Kat that he was merely visiting Spencer in Australia.
Currently, Kat discovers that Alfie is in Spain, though she doesn’t know he’s searching for their estranged child. This child hurriedly departed from London following a conversation with Stacey Slater where she admitted to doing something wrong and beyond forgiveness.
In simple terms, it has been announced that Zoe will have a significant return during the summer season, possibly even before Alfie. Preliminary hints suggest that Alfie is set to reappear in Albert Square on July 28th, a Monday.
Alfie comes home to an unexpected situation, Lauren uncovers something troubling, and Harry is concerned about getting caught.

It’s still uncertain what lies ahead for Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway). However, with the reappearance of Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), it seems there may be further complications on the horizon.
This past week, Oscar made his reappearance in Walford after spending time in a juvenile correctional facility.
It came as a surprise to Lauren when she discovered that Oscar intended to live with her, and that their mother Tanya (Jo Joyner) had evicted Oscar because one of his associates attempted to bomb their house with gasoline!
Could there be more trouble ahead for the teen? Viewers will have to stay tuned.
