In a recent interview with ScreenRant, actor Wilson Bethel, who plays Benjamin Poindexter in “Daredevil: Born Again“, hinted at some exciting developments for his character in Season 2. There’s been buzz that Poindexter might join forces with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) to combat Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk and his martial law. Bethel is cautious about revealing too much, but it appears that Poindexter will play a significant role when the series resumes in March. Given the story’s previous ending for his character, it seems unlikely he’ll side with Fisk, suggesting that an alliance with Murdock could be on the horizon.
Bethel shared a hint with caution: we’ve recently finished filming just a few days ago. I’m immensely proud of the work we accomplished for this upcoming season. It’s going to leave people absolutely astounded. I can’t reveal much without giving away spoilers, but fans of Bullseye and Dex will be thrilled by some truly unique and mind-blowing actions that I get to perform. I believe some of my best work on Daredevil, and possibly any show, will be featured in this new season.
Bethel expressed great eagerness for people to witness it. He was clearly elated about it, referring to it as one of his most significant accomplishments in his career. Having initially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018 through Daredevil Season 3, he didn’t have much opportunity to make a strong impact before the Netflix series ended. However, with ‘Born Again’, he takes center stage and while there have been some remarkable moments so far, he hasn’t had many chances for full-scale action yet.
It appears that significant shifts might occur quite rapidly, given that Born Again’s first season concluded with Wilson Fisk declaring martial law in New York City and taking severe measures against vigilantism. The Swordsman (Tony Dalton) and Punisher (Jon Bernthal) were apprehended and confined in temporary cells in Red Hook. Given Dex’s recent attempt on Fisk’s life, it seems plausible that he will be pursued relentlessly as the vigilante known as Bullseye.
It’s plausible that Krysten Ritter will reappear as Jessica Jones because if New York City is under martial law, anyone with a history of being a vigilante could be in grave danger. Also returning is Camila Rodriguez as Angela del Toro, and she might take on the role of White Tiger. Given Marvel’s knack for keeping things secretive, it’s possible that more vigilantes will make an appearance before this story concludes.
I’m thrilled to share that the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again” will debut on Disney+ in March 2026! If you haven’t already, you can catch up on the first season and all the Netflix-era content on the same platform right now, along with other Marvel Cinematic Universe treasures. Let’s dive back into the action!
