Netflix Unveils First Look At Live-Action Crocodile In One Piece Season 2

Netflix has released a new poster for Season 2 of One Piece, giving fans their first glimpse of Sir Crocodile, the main villain of the Alabasta Arc. The first season of One Piece introduced several enemies of the Straw Hat crew, including Alvida, Buggy the Clown, Dracule Mihawk, and Arlong. Season 2 promises even bigger challenges for Luffy and his team as they face a group of assassins from an organization called Baroque Works, led by the formidable Sir Crocodile, who will appear in live-action for the first time.

Netflix revealed the first image of Sir Crocodile in live-action form with a new poster for One Piece Season 2. The poster also features the main Straw Hat crew and the other assassins who will appear in the next season.

The poster features a shadowy image of Joe Manganiello as Sir Crocodile, emphasizing his signature hook – which has replaced his left hand – and highlighting its dangerous function. The hook conceals a potent poison needle, making it a powerful weapon in battle.

Beyond his venomous hook, Sir Crocodile possesses the Sand-Sand Fruit, a powerful Devil Fruit ability. This allows him to generate, manipulate, and even become sand, making him nearly immune to conventional attacks and a formidable opponent for the Straw Hat Pirates.

Sir Crocodile is incredibly difficult to damage, and he can also drain the moisture from anything he touches. This allows him to quickly turn opponents into mummies or completely dry out the surrounding area.

Sir Crocodile in the anime is a powerfully built man who always dresses in stylish, mafia-inspired clothes. Early looks at Joe Manganiello’s live-action version show he’ll look very similar to the anime character, including wearing a matching undersuit as seen in promotional posters.
