Okay, so Saber Interactive just dropped the story trailer for their new game, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, and it looks pretty intense! It’s a survival horror action game, so I’m already intrigued.
Here is the story synopsis, via Saber Interactive:
Love brings both joy and sorrow. Accept what you want and confront your inner struggles. Allow yourself to feel both pleasure and hurt, because genuine connection is often found when you explore your deepest emotions.
Suffering, my Valentine…
This is a dark and intense story about desire, forbidden attraction, and the terrible things that can happen when you give in to temptation. You play as Aidan, who must brave a terrifying journey into the underworld to save his girlfriend, Sunny, from the horrifying Cenobites who have trapped her in an endless nightmare within the Labyrinth.
Okay, so I’m completely hooked on this game! You’re basically fighting for the person you love against seriously messed up demons, creepy cultists, and all sorts of nightmarish creatures. You’ve got this crazy puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration, plus a bunch of regular weapons, but the real question is… can you protect your soul from Pinhead? Doug Bradley himself voices him, and let me tell you, he’s terrifying! If you give in to temptation, you’re doomed to suffer forever. It’s intense!
The new game, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam in 2026.
