
As a big fan of period dramas and true crime, I was thrilled to see BritBox just dropped the release date and first trailer for their new series, The Lady. It’s a four-part drama inspired by real events and, from what I’ve seen, it looks wonderfully regal!
Featuring Natalie Dormer (known from Game of Thrones) and Mia McKenna-Bruce (Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials), The Lady tells the true story of Jane Andrews. In 1988, Jane answered a magazine ad and landed her dream job as the Duchess of York’s personal dresser at Buckingham Palace. However, after nine years of service, Jane’s life took a dramatic turn when she fell for the wrong person.
