Mandy Moore & Taylor Goldsmith Give Tour of Their Home After Fires

Mandy Moore is giving fans a walkthrough to remember.

Mandy Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, recently shared a glimpse of their rebuilt home after it was severely damaged in the Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025. They described the difficult period immediately following the fire.

In a video published on February 11th, Taylor explained that they arrived just hours after the fire swept through the area. They found the studio ablaze and the garage already destroyed.

Thankfully, the house wasn’t a total loss after the fire, allowing the couple – who have three children, August (4), Oscar (3), and Louise (16 months) – to rebuild it in a Spanish colonial style. However, they did lose many of their possessions and had to replace them.

Initially, I didn’t understand the extent of the damage after the fire. I walked through and thought everything was manageable, and we’d be able to move back home within a month. However, we quickly realized that everything absorbent – furniture, rugs, and other soft items – had to be completely discarded.

Mandy not only showed off her renovated kitchen, family room, bedrooms, and backyard, but also explained how the renovation process helped her feel more connected to her neighbors in Altadena.

She said people are incredibly proud to live in this area and really feel like they’re building a life here. Many of their neighbors feel the same way, and she believes this shared sense of ownership will bring the community even closer together.

Last autumn, the singer of “Candy” openly talked about dealing with the effects of the fire while celebrating Thanksgiving with Taylor and their children.

She shared on Instagram in November that while the past year was challenging, she felt incredibly grateful for everything.

I’m so happy for Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith! They’ve expanded their family with two adorable little boys. First came Gus, born in February 2021, and then Ozzie arrived in October 2022. It’s been wonderful watching their family grow!

For Father’s Day 2023, Mandy sent a sweet message to her husband, saying how happy she was to be raising their child with him. She told him they were a lucky family of three and expressed her love, wishing him a happy Father’s Day!

Mandy wrote a tribute to Taylor on Instagram, saying she’d always known he’d be a great dad – he was already writing songs about coaching Little League! But she was still amazed by how naturally and exceptionally he took to fatherhood once they had children.

I’m constantly amazed by everything you do – your kindness, patience, and how you always jump in to help, whether it’s changing diapers, soothing a crying baby, or keeping up with our energetic toddler, all without me even needing to ask. You’re also a master at getting Gus to eat and always know how to make Ozzie laugh. And the music you pick for our boys is incredible – I could list endless examples of how wonderful you are.

Mandy shared on Instagram in February 2023 that they celebrated her partner, Gus Goldsmith’s, birthday early with loved ones. She wrote that two years with him have passed quickly and expressed how fortunate they are to have him in their lives.

In April 2020, Mandy revealed on Instagram that after spending more than six weeks in quarantine with someone, they were still enjoying each other’s company.

“Me and my love,” Mandy shared on Instagram when teasing another duet performance.

Whether performing music together or cuddling on the couch, these two make one cute couple.

The Dawes musician and the actress/singer collaborated on a song for This Is Us.

Composer Chris Goldsmith shared a photo on Instagram from November 2018 with Mandy Moore and Sidd Khosla, taken the day they recorded the song “Invisible Ink” for an episode of This Is Us. He expressed how honored he was that Sidd asked him to co-write the song and then to record it with someone he considers a close friend. You can find the song on Spotify and Apple Music.

In May 2018, a charming couple attended the Communities in Schools Celebration in Los Angeles.

In September 2018, Moore shared a photo on Instagram of himself and someone else looking exhausted after being woken up by the hotel fire alarm in the middle of the night. He also mentioned how happy they were to finally spend a day together after being apart for nearly a month, and added that seeing @dawestheband perform is always a great experience – especially for those attending the show in Portland that night.

The two attend the 2017 Emmy Awards.

Moore shared a throwback post to Instagram about a special Emmy Sunday when someone traveled across the country that morning just to spend the day with her.

Mandy posted this picture to celebrate her and T’s two-year anniversary in July 2017, writing, “These have been the best two years, and I’m always smiling when I’m with you.”

In January 2016, Moore shared on Instagram how proud they were of a band member and the entire group for delivering a fantastic performance in their hometown the night before.

The actress from This Is Us confidently wears heels, even if it makes her taller than her partner – a truly inspiring couple!

The couple enjoyed a mini-vacay in San Francisco to see an iconic landmark.

Like Ed Sheeran’s lyrics suggest, someone special might keep you close, like tucked away in the pocket of their jeans. Or, as Taylor Swift would say, you could be cherished like a bookmark in a beloved book.
