Netflix horror The Haunting of Hill House gets surprising new adaptation – when fans can expect it

Horror fans have seen a growing number of spooky stories adapted for the stage recently, from films like Paranormal Activity to plays like 2:22 A Ghost Story.

It looks like this popularity will keep going, as the UK premiere of The Haunting of Hill House has just been announced.

This scary story originally appeared as a popular novel by Shirley Jackson, and it was later turned into a successful Netflix series with Victoria Pedretti as the lead.

This story isn’t for the easily disturbed. It centers around a team of investigators exploring the unsettling Hill House, which feels like a living, breathing, and terrifying presence throughout the narrative.

The stage show will tour the UK in 2026, stopping at venues in cities like Richmond, Salisbury, Brighton, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

The tour begins September 11th at Salisbury Playhouse and concludes on November 14th at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh.
