I absolutely loved watching Schitt’s Creek! It was so heartwarming to see the Rose family, who were used to a totally different life, adjust to living in this small town. What really stood out to me was how the show treated everyone with respect – even characters like Roland and Jocelyn Schitt, and of course, the one and only Moira Rose! Schitt’s Creek itself felt like another character, a surprisingly warm and inviting place that really highlighted the show’s messages about love and community.

HBO Max’s Somebody Somewhere, highly praised by critics, shares a similar realistic and comforting feel with Schitt’s Creek. However, while Schitt’s Creek generally focuses on minor issues, Somebody Somewhere isn’t afraid to explore deeper, more difficult emotions, which ultimately makes it a more rewarding show to watch.

Sam consistently struggles with money, relationships, and her physical well-being, relying heavily on the kindness of others for basic needs like housing and transportation.
