PS2 Game From 2003 Returning With New Remaster (And It’s Out Next Month)

I was so excited to hear that another classic PS2 game is getting a remaster! It’s coming out in less than a month, which is a total surprise. Last year, Aspyr remastered Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2, and fans really loved it. We’ve all been wondering what they’d do next with the series, and now we finally know! It’s great to see this game getting some love.

PlayStation’s recent State of Play presentation announced that Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered is on its way. Originally released 13 years ago as the last game in the Legacy of Kain series for the PlayStation 2, Defiance proved popular despite being different from the Soul Reaver games. The remastered version will arrive surprisingly soon, on March 3rd. For now, it’s confirmed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but it’s expected to become available on Nintendo, Xbox, and PC in the future.
