Koei Tecmo revealed that Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is launching on PS5 on June 25th. They shared a new trailer during the recent State of Play event, offering a fresh look at this updated version of the 2019 fighting game.
Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will have 29 characters to play, building on the original 2019 game. This includes the 24 characters from the first release, plus 5 additional fighters added as downloadable content. Players can also look forward to new costumes for the characters, featuring popular designs for favorites like Kasumi and Marie Rose.
With the PlayStation 5 release, Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will take full advantage of the console’s powerful hardware, delivering improved graphics and smoother gameplay. Players can also capture and share their best moments using the game’s built-in photo mode.
The game will be available in two versions: a full standard edition and a free-to-play version. The free version will let you play with four characters – Kasumi, NiCO, Marie Rose, and Honoka – but you’ll still be able to compete online against all players, including those who purchased the full game.
The company announced they’re creating a new Dead or Alive game. Though they haven’t shared many specifics yet, they did release a short trailer showcasing updated versions of the characters Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi. You can find more information in our full report.
