The visually stunning fighting game, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, will be released on August 6th. And great news for fans – the X-Men are now playable characters!
You may already be familiar with Storm being a playable character. Now, we’re adding Magik, Wolverine, and Danger to the lineup! You can create any team you like, but these four characters will also function as a strong, pre-built team.
Plus, as we’ve mentioned before, the game will include a single-player story mode called Episodes Mode.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the game will combine American comic books and Japanese manga in a fresh way, designed specifically for modern video games. While the writer hasn’t been announced, it’s said to be a well-known author who previously worked on the original Marvel comics.
The regular version of the game will be priced at $59.99 and comes with these bonus items if you pre-order:
- Infinity Gauntlet (Lobby Equipment)
- Baby Groot (Lobby Pet)
- Cosmic Surfboard (Lobby Ride)
As a huge fan, I’m really excited about the Digital Deluxe Edition for $84.99! It includes everything from the standard edition, plus a Year 1 pass that gives you four extra characters and another stage. And if that wasn’t enough, you also get some cool lobby items featuring Howard the Duck and Cosmo. It seems like a great value if you’re planning on getting all the extra content anyway!
There will also be a $99.99 Ultimate Edition that includes everything else, plus special costumes for Storm, Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Spider-Man. This edition features an extra Spider-Man suit inspired by the Advanced Suit from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Are you excited for this one?
