The new Masters of the Universe movie is coming to theaters later this year, and it’s bringing a lot of related toys and merchandise with it. The recent trailer offered quick glimpses of key characters, leaving fans wanting more. Now, thanks to a preview of the toy line, we’re getting a much better look at characters like Beast Man and the Skel-Knights, but the Roton figure is especially grabbing attention.
Two different lines of Masters of the Universe toys are coming out to coincide with the new movie, and the 5.5-inch figures are designed to look just like the characters in the film. Mattel has shared photos of the first figures, giving us a clearer look at characters like Beast Man. The movie version of Beast Man has a lot more orange coloring, and we can now see details like his leg armor and shoulder spikes much better than we could in the trailer. You can see a picture of Beast Man below, and there’s plenty more to explore in the new toy line.

Masters of the Universe Final Reveals The Skel-Knights, But The Roton Might Steal The Show

We’ve been eager to share a closer look at the Skel-Knights, Skeletor’s dedicated soldiers. These warriors will fight against He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Teela, and all the heroes of Eternia. Their armor is grey and black with skeletal designs on the chest and shoulders, and each Skel-Knight carries a large, powerful sword.

The trailer briefly shows the Roton, but the toy version is even more impressive! Its design really stands out, especially up close. It features two spinning blades, two blasters, and can be piloted by any of the 5.5-inch action figures. A handle is also included, making it easy to maneuver the Roton during playtime battles.
Along with the new announcements, we’re getting a closer look at figures like He-Man, Teela, Skeletor, and Battle Cat. New action figures of He-Man and Skeletor are also being released. Both figures feature a twisting, slashing action and come with attachments for their signature weapons – the Power Sword and Havoc Staff. He-Man also includes a damaged shield.
The latest additions to the role-playing collection are Skeletor’s Talking Mask and the Power of Grayskull Power Sword. The Skeletor mask speaks six phrases from the movie and has four evil laughs – it activates when you open its jaw! The Power Sword is 27 inches long and includes sounds, phrases, and lights inspired by the film. You can see the full new collection of figures below.
