Before Netflix acquired Warner Bros Discovery, HBO Max removed many popular animated shows and movies. These titles moved to other streaming platforms, leaving fans disappointed. Now, this March, several of those beloved series will be available on a new, free streaming service, which is great news for animation lovers – especially since some of these shows haven’t been available to stream anywhere recently.
Starting March 1st, Tubi will be adding a large collection of popular animated series from Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Here’s what will be available:
- Animaniacs
- Batman: Brave and The Bold
- Ben 10
- Codename: Kids Next Door
- Courage The Cowardly Dog
- Dexter’s Lab
- Ed Edd n’ Eddy
- Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends
- Justice League
- The Powerpuff Girls
- Teen Titans
- The Batman
- Pinky & The Brain
Tubi has had great success picking up animated shows that HBO Max cancelled, and they’re continuing that trend. Tubi is a free streaming service supported by ads. Starting next month, you’ll be able to watch these shows on Tubi, whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering them for the first time.
Tubi’s WB Success Story

Tubi has seen a significant boost in viewers thanks to a recent deal with Warner Bros., particularly with the popular Looney Tunes cartoons. According to Samuel Harowitz, Tubi’s Head of Acquisitions, Looney Tunes is a major success for the platform, as classic animation is a very popular genre among their audience. He also mentioned that Tubi is working to secure the rights to Looney Tunes for many years to come, and he was pleased that the series briefly left HBO Max, allowing Tubi and other networks to offer it to viewers.
Now that Netflix has bought HBO Max, viewers are wondering what will happen to all the shows and movies from Warner Bros. Netflix has said Warner Bros. films will still be released in cinemas, and there’s no indication yet that HBO Max will shut down and become part of Netflix. However, if Netflix drops any animated series, Tubi is likely to acquire them – as seen with Looney Tunes, this could be a very profitable move for the free streaming service.
