Rachel Lindsay‘s divorce from Bryan Absolo was a thorn in her side.
The reality TV personality from Bachelor Nation says she feels relieved and liberated now that she’s finished paying alimony to her former spouse.
Rachel admitted on the February 11th episode of the Pop Syllabus podcast that she regretted not having a prenuptial agreement, saying her ex-partner took a significant amount from her.
She continued, “He was ruthless about it, there was no compromising.”
Rachel and Bryan, ages 40 and 45 respectively, officially divorced in January 2025, a year after Bryan initiated the legal separation. As part of their divorce agreement, Rachel will pay Bryan a one-time alimony payment of $500,000.
Rachel, who met her husband Bryan on season 13 of The Bachelorette and married him in 2019, said she felt strong being able to make their relationship last for a year. She described it as proving doubters wrong, feeling like she had overcome challenges and was still thriving.
Honestly, it’s so frustrating to hear her talk about it now! She’s said she just felt like everyone expected her to get married and have it all figured out, so she kind ofâŠrushed. And the worst part? She asked for a prenup! Can you believe it? She actually tried to protect herself, but he completely refused. It just feels like a huge red flag, you know? She was thinking ahead, and he wasnât, and now look what happened!
Looking back, several things came together that led me to go through with the marriage, despite knowing there were problems,” Rachel explained. “I’d internalized this idea that my dedication to my career meant I wasn’t lovable, and that really played a role.”
And now, she wants other women to learn from her “public and messy” breakup.
Rachel explained that she needed to overcome the fear, shame, and embarrassment she felt after her divorce. She also wants people to understand she isn’t always as put-together as she seems.
She added, “And this divorce showed some of that.”

TopMob News has tried to get a statement from Bryan, but he hasn’t responded yet. Previously, he explained that his marriage to Rachel ended because he felt emotionally and mentally exhausted.
He explained to divorce coach Rene Garcia in a 2024 YouTube video that they hadn’t spent quality time together. He felt they were more aware of each otherâs activities through Instagram than through direct interaction, despite living in the same home.
Bryan explained his decision to get a divorce by saying he needed to prioritize his well-being and reduce stress.
Which other couples from The Bachelor franchise have gotten divorced? Here’s an update on where everyone stands.

Before The Golden Bachelor even premiered, Mel Owen faced criticism for comments he made on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen. He stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60 and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.
Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of spark. The retired NFL linebacker describes her as incredibly energetic, as he told Glamour magazine.
Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athleteâwho is also a lawyerâpresented his partner with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining, “This symbolizes our love and our willingness to work together to build a future.”

Status: Engaged
As someone who keeps a close eye on the Bachelor Nation, I’ve been following Spencer Conley’s journey â you might remember him charming Jenn Tran on The Bachelorette with his genuinely sweet personality! Well, it looks like he found something special on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. He recently shared a sweet post with Jess Edwards (who gave things a shot with Joey Graziadei) hinting they were falling for each other â which, in Bachelor terms, means things are getting serious but theyâre not quite ready to shout it from the rooftops! He even playfully posted on Instagram in August 2025 that he’d ‘already won,’ and honestly, it’s adorable to see!
Jess echoed the sentiment, posting on social media, “Just really happy about this guy and everything!”
They were overjoyed to get engaged after deciding to prioritize their relationship over a $250,000 prize, and were then surprised with a $190,000 check as they left.
“Everything that weâve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”
Jess announced during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she’ll be moving to Dallas in a few weeks, following her blossoming relationship.

Oh my gosh, you guys, it was the BEST first date ever! I, Bailey Taylor Brown, took Jeremy Simon out during Paradise’s tenth season, and I seriously think I’m falling for him. But⊠is it over already? We just had the most dramatic fight ever! I found out he was still thinking about Susie Evans, even after he almost won Jenn’s heart! I mean, after everything, to still be hung up on her? It’s killing me, but I’m hoping we can get past this. I was originally there for Grant Ellis, but Jeremy⊠heâs different.
Their romance really blossomed while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show. They’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city together.
In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

It appears Andrew Spencer, who competed on Katie Thurstonâs season of Paradise, and Alexe Godin from Grantâs season are still very much together after filming. Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his âmon amourâ on Instagram in August 2025, she reciprocated, calling him âmon chĂ©riâ in a post of her own.
You know, it was so sweet to see them choose love over the big prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale! And honestly, they didn’t go home empty-handed â they still walked away with $125,000, which is a fantastic bonus. It just proves that sometimes, the best things in life aren’t about the money!
Alexe exclaimed, “This is incredible!” She was leaving with not only financial security, but something even more valuable: love.
The show will follow Alexe and Andrew as they start a new chapter together in Chicago, where they’re relocating to pursue their relationship.
In September 2025, she shared on Instagram that she’d found someone who matched her quirky personality, and she was excited to build a future with them.

During the finale of Bachelor in Paradise, a conflict arose when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat Izzo had hidden a laptop and was secretly corresponding with a former partner through letters. Kat, a nurse practitioner, strongly denied having any contact with him while on the show.
She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone new.
Despite being eliminated before the finale of Paradise, Kat and Dale continued their relationship. The show later revealed that the two â Kat, who appeared on Zach Shallcrossâ season, and Dale, a former contestant from Clare Crawleyâs season â went on to travel the country together and are planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.
Dale wrote under Katâs August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldnât trade the experience for anything.

Status: Just friendsâfor nowÂ
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the drama, and it’s fascinating! Remember Gary Levingston from The Golden Bachelorette and Leslie Fhima, who was a fan favorite on The Golden Bachelor? They seemed so promising after leaving Bachelor in Paradise â they even posted about starting a new chapter together! But it looks like things might be complicated. Apparently, Leslie isn’t entirely sure she wants to take their connection to the next level romantically. It’s a surprising twist, and definitely something to watch!
She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends, someone she turns to when she needs advice or support. Theyâre always there for each other and have each otherâs backs.
Even though they live far apart â she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California â she’s still optimistic about their connection. She explained that, for her, the most important part of any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a strong friendship first. Ultimately, she wants to grow old with someone who is also her best friend.

Status: Just friends
Kim Buike, a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, has found love with Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner on The Bachelor. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, the pair are still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date in her hometown of Washington.
In the end, they realized they were better suited as friends than as a couple.
Faith shared in a September 2025 Instagram video that she and this person talk about two or three times a week, despite living five and a half hours apart. However, she clarified they’re not romantically involved â they never fell in love, but they did have a strong connection while filming their show.

Grant initially met twenty-five women on The Bachelor, but he chose Juliana Pasquarosa as the recipient of his final rose. Unfortunately, the couple broke up less than three months after the proposal was shown on television.
Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible in the long run.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turnerâs season and then leading her own, she accepted a proposal from contestant Chock Chapple.
As someone who’s lived a full life, I can tell you it’s never too late for love! That’s exactly what I shared on The Golden Bachelorette finale in Bora Bora, right before John proposed. I told him Iâd waited for this perfect moment to say it: I loved him, and I wanted to spend the rest of my days with him. Simple as that â waking up together, sharing a goodnight kiss⊠thatâs what itâs all about.

During the finale of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found her happily ever after with Devin Strader. However, Jenn shared during the After the Final Rose episode in September 2024 that Devin became distant with her immediately after filming ended.
Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said he completely reversed course and denied ever being in love, taking back all the promises and affection heâd previously expressed.
The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective and taking responsibility for his actions. He also detailed why he ended the relationship during a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers while he was trying to tell her in person.
He said he hadn’t seen another option, especially since he wanted to tell her face-to-face. Ultimately, she made him reveal it sooner than he’d planned.
Oh my gosh, Jenn then just appeared on Dancing With the Stars, and honestly, she and Sasha Farber were magic together! I was completely obsessed with their chemistry. Even after they were sadly eliminated in October 2024, they kept dancing together for a while, which was so sweet. But sadly, it didn’t last, and they split in 2025. It broke my heart!

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurstonâs season of The Bachelorette, started dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg shared in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before revealing their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo had already broken up with their respective costars. Victoria had ended her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.

Oh my gosh, Gerry and Theresa! It feels like yesterday they got engaged on The Golden Bachelor finale in November 2023 â I was screaming at the TV! And then, a televised wedding in January 2024! It was so beautiful, even though it’s so sad to hear they’ve since divorced. I was completely invested in their love story, and I’m just heartbroken for them both.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. In an appearance on Good Morning America in April 2024, they announced they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. He told Kelsey, “I canât wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” before asking her to marry him. Joey explained that Kelseyâs positive energy makes him incredibly happy, a feeling heâd never experienced before. He shared that meeting her showed him how truly wonderful life could be, and he knew he wanted to spend forever with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawsonâs affection, and Kat Izzo, from Zach Shallcrossâ season, found a connection on Bachelor in Paradise, but their romance didnât last. Despite a proposal with a Neil Lane diamond, the couple announced their split shortly after the show aired. They explained on Instagram that their differing career goals led them to realize they werenât a long-term match, but they remained thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite being anxious about finding love again after Paradise, she happily said yes when Aaron Bryant proposed by the ocean. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing, admitting she was overcome with emotion.
However, their engagement didn’t last. After returning from Mexico, Eliza and Aaron experienced difficulties and ultimately decided to end things.
In a December 2023 Instagram post, Aaron shared that they are parting ways amicably, with nothing but positivity and respect for each other.

Okay, so I was obsessed with Kylee and Aven! I seriously thought they were the real deal. She kept hinting he was ready to propose â like, he’d practiced proposing to Rachel on The Bachelorette! It was so frustrating because she wanted that big moment, she even had a dress picked out! But she said she just had to take a chance on love, and she accepted his proposal to try and make things work outside of Paradise. I was SO happy for them… until two days later. She posted on Instagram that it was over. Apparently, Aven cheated on her â multiple times! It was devastating to watch. He eventually apologized, saying he messed up badly and hurt her, but honestly, it just wasn’t enough after that. I’m still heartbroken for Kylee, she deserved so much better.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even more exciting than she let on. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and declaring their love was “perfect.” He asked her to marry him and make their relationship a lasting reality.
Though a weddingâpossibly in 2025 or 2026âis in the future, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, saying he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was excited for her to have this amazing opportunity.

Zach Shallcross proposed to Kaity Biggar at the end of season 27 in March 2023, despite some challenges along the way. He told her, “I am so in love with you. You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.” By July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, had taken their relationship a step further and announced they were now living together.
Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection. She felt she was getting too caught up in minor details and wanted to simplify things.
However, one thing especially delighted her. The aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection had discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they held their wedding. “It was exactly what I wanted,” Kaity said.

As a lifestyle expert, I always keep a close eye on Bachelor Nation, and I was really rooting for Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio! They met on Bachelor in Paradise and seemed like such a promising couple â both had overcome real heartbreak, and their connection felt genuine. Danielle had previously experienced a devastating loss, and Michael, a single dad to his sweet son James, was navigating life after loss as well. They even took a big step by Danielle moving to Ohio to be with him. Sadly, about a year later, they decided to go their separate ways. Michael shared on a recent podcast that sometimes, even when love is present, people just arenât compatible, and itâs okay to grieve not just the relationship, but the future you imagined together. It’s a tough reminder that even seemingly perfect connections can end, and it’s important to allow yourself to feel that loss.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in a May 2023 Instagram post. They explained that trying to work through their issues had been very difficult with so much public attention, and while they both still cared deeply for each other, they were heartbroken and asked for privacy.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he feels ashamed and wishes he could have handled the situation differently, adding that it continues to bother him.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on the 2022 season of The Bachelor, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie, a videographer based in Los Angeles, has explained that the split was necessary for her own well-being. In a November 2022 blog post, she shared that she wasn’t truly happy and felt disconnected from her best self, despite having some good times with Clayton. She said those around her noticed she wasn’t thriving.
I was so excited when Susie started dating Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation! Sadly, they announced their split in August 2024, which was really disappointing.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, received a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, on a reality show. However, the couple broke up after just six months, in December 2021, because they struggled to connect and often argued. Nayte later admitted it was a mistake that they didn’t have the final breakup conversation in person. Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they got engaged the following year, marrying in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were excited about a future for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, imagining cozy Sundays together. However, the couple from season seven of BIP only lasted a few months. In a statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a contestant on Tayshia Adamsâ season) announced they were breaking up. They explained that they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t expected to split up.

Status: Split
The first same-sex couple from Bachelor in Paradise got engaged during season six, but they revealed they had broken up in 2019 on Halloween.
We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and prioritizing our individual well-being is important to us. With love and sadness, we’ve decided to separate so we can both grow as individuals. This is whatâs best for us now and in the future, as shared in a joint statement.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. After initially living in San Diego, the couple recently bought a house in Noahâs hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, joking that they were entering their âChip and Joanna Gaines era.â Theyâre now planning their wedding after Noah proposed in San Diego in August 2023.

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first connected on reality TV, surprised everyone by getting legally married in October 2022! While they were still planning a larger wedding for September 2023, they decided to tie the knot early at a City Hall ceremony near their home in New York City. Joe Amabile gained initial fame on The Bachelorette with Becca Kufrin, and Serena was a finalist on Matt James’ season. Serena, who now co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Joe, shared the news with the caption, âWe are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!â

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, a beauty queen from Maryland who originally appeared on The Bachelor, moved to Chicago to be with Kenny and they began planning their wedding. Before their November 2023 oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico (attended by 65 guests), the couple demonstrated their commitment by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023. Kenny was previously eliminated by Tayshia Adams in week five of Paradise.

Status: Married
Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurstonâs season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They briefly split up while filming, but got back together after the show ended.
In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca was the one who proposed. She told TopMob News she hoped their decision would encourage others to break with tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October. In September 2023, they welcomed their son, Benson, with Becca sharing on Instagram that no words could express how much love they had for him.
Just weeks after Bensonâs birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
