The Departed Might Actually Be Better Than The Godfather

Mark Wahlberg, often known for lighter, less memorable roles, is a standout. While not as subtle or carefully crafted as some films, The Departed compensates with intense, gripping drama and suspense. It’s a film that feels like it’s constantly building to an explosion, and it stands out as one of the best gangster movies ever made.
