The Boys Season 5 Will Officially Introduce 6 New Supes to the Show

The fifth season of the hit show The Boys will be its last, but it will feature some new characters before it ends. The Prime Video series is famous for its cynical take on superheroes, often showing seemingly good heroes with hidden flaws. Season 5 will focus on the growing conflict between Homelander, a powerful and controlling figure, and the other superpowered individuals who either support or oppose him.

The world of The Boys has grown beyond the original show to include Gen V, geared towards young adults, and the upcoming series Vought Rising, all of which build upon the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Even after four seasons, The Boys hasn’t featured every memorable superhero from the comics, and Season 5 will introduce several new ones to viewers.

Eric Kripke leads the show The Boys, which stars Anthony Starr as Homelander, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, and a talented ensemble cast. The fifth season will premiere on Prime Video on April 8, 2026, with new episodes released each week.

All the New Supes in Season 5 of The Boys

Bombsight

Fans will soon meet Bombsight, a new character played by Mason Dye, in both Season 5 of The Boys and the upcoming prequel series, Vought Rising. Like Soldier Boy, Bombsight was a superhero from the 1950s and one of the first to receive the Compound V-One injection from Frederick Vought.

We don’t fully understand Bombsight’s powers yet, but given his background as a fighter pilot, they likely relate to that experience. His appearance in Season 5 of The Boys alongside Soldier Boy could explain his introduction and establish his role in the Vought Rising storyline.

Teenage Kix

The comic book series The Boys features a young superhero team called Teenage Kix. They’re a dark and cynical take on teams like Young Avengers or Champions, and usually include members like A-Train, Popclaw, Blarney Cock, Shout Out, Dogknott, Whack Job, Jetstreak, and Gunpowder.

As a huge fan of The Boys, I was really excited to see set photos hinting at the introduction of the Teenage Kix in Season 5! We’ve already met A-Train and Popclaw, but it’s a total mystery which other members of that young superhero team the show will feature. The pictures showed their “Kix Mobile” with at least three new faces on it, so it seems like we’ll definitely see them play some role in the final season. I’m already speculating about their powers and how they’ll fit into the story!

Marie Moreau

Viewers who enjoy the show Gen V already know Marie Moreau (played by Jaz Sinclair), and Season 5 will mark her official debut in The Boys.

In Season 2 of Gen V, Marie emerged as a remarkably powerful supe, capable of both devastating attacks and healing with her blood-bending abilities. According to Eric Kripke, speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Marie will play a significant role in Season 5 of The Boys, offering vital help that could be essential to defeating Homelander.

Jordan Li

Season 5 of The Boys will feature Jordan Li (played by London Thor and Derek Luh), a popular character from the Gen V spin-off who has the ability to change genders.

In the season finale of Gen V, Jordan found himself in a similar situation to Marie, confronted by A-Train and Starlight who tried to recruit him into their rebel group. As The Boys heads into its fifth season, the team is growing to include these younger heroes. Their first mission will probably be finding their teammates – Hughie, Frenchie, MM, and Kimiko – who are currently missing.

Emma Meyer

Emma, played by Lizze Broadway, is a key character in Gen V who joined the resistance at the end of Season 2, which will be important for Season 5 of The Boys. Her ability to change size – growing larger or shrinking smaller – makes her valuable in fights and when the team needs to be sneaky. This power will likely be crucial in the upcoming season, especially when trying to infiltrate Homelander’s new prison camps for those rebelling against him.

Annabeth Moreau

In Season 2 of Gen V, Annabeth (played by Keeya King), Marie’s sister, became a more important character. This happened after the long-separated sisters reconnected, and Marie learned her powers could potentially revive Annabeth. Annabeth also has superpowers, most notably the ability to see into the future.

Annabeth, Marie, Jordan, and Emma are teaming up with A-Train and Starlight to fight against Homelander in the next season of The Boys. This adds more young heroes to the growing resistance.
