Nicole Kidman Celebrates Galentine’s Day After Keith Urban Divorce

Nicole Kidman is feeling the love from her girls.

Shortly after her divorce from Keith Urban was finalized, actress Nicole Kidman celebrated the women in her life, starting Valentine’s Day weekend with a heartfelt message.

Nicole celebrated Galentine’s Day – the day before Valentine’s Day dedicated to appreciating female friendships – by posting a cozy photo of herself in bed. She wore a pink striped shirt and gave a small smile to the camera, with a simple caption wishing everyone a “Happy Galentines.”

Michelle Pfeiffer and Rachel Zoe quickly returned the love to the Dangerous Liaisons star, with Pfeiffer writing, “Happy Galentine’s Day, my friend!” and Zoe simply adding, “Happiest!”

Since my split from Keith became public, I’ve been so grateful for the incredible support of the women in my life, especially my amazing daughters, Sunday Rose, who’s 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. We’ve been focusing on creating new memories together, and it’s been a real source of strength during this time.

In late January, Nicole Kidman, along with her husband, daughters, sister Antonia Kidman, and other family members, took what she called a “once in a lifetime adventure” to Antarctica. They shared photos of their journey through the snowy landscape.

Since announcing her divorce after 19 years of marriage, Nicole has been busy with work, including roles in the shows Kay Scarpetta and Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and the upcoming Practical Magic 2. However, her main priority has been her daughters. As part of the divorce settlement finalized in January, Nicole will have primary custody of their daughters for 306 days a year, while Keith will spend every other weekend with them, totaling 59 days of custody.

Nicole recently shared with Ariana Grande in an Interview magazine article that raising teenage daughters is a captivating experience. She believes today’s teens have developed a resilience she didn’t have growing up, largely due to navigating social media from a young age. They seem to instinctively understand how to manage its challenges and pressures.

She emphasized, “They don’t take a lot of things personally. They shrug it off.”
