Fans of a popular anime on Netflix will be happy to hear the final season is coming this spring. Netflix had a strong start to the year with new releases, and they’ve announced even more exciting content coming soon, including the return of this anime which significantly impacted how viewers perceive computer-generated animation.
When Netflix started offering more anime in 2019, Beastars was a major exclusive acquisition for them. Now, after seven years, the series is ending. The first part of the final season premiered in 2024, and the second and final part will be available on Netflix starting March 7th. You can get a sneak peek at Beastars Final Season Part 2 below.
Beastars Final Season Part 2 Netflix Release Date Confirmed

After a two-year wait, the final part of Beastars Season 2 will premiere worldwide on Netflix March 7th. Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi are back as director and writer, with animation handled by Studio Orange. The original voice actors will reprise their roles, though details about the English dub are still unknown. It’s uncertain whether all episodes will be released at once or weekly, but previous seasons were released as a complete set with both Japanese and English audio options, so that’s likely how this will be released as well.
The final season of Beastars has added several new voice actors to the Japanese cast: Shinichiro Miki as Yahya, Shigeru Chiba as Gosha, Koji Okino as Melon, Tessho Genda as Sagwan, Fumiko Orikasa as Seven, Houko Kuwashima as Leano, Yuko Minaguchi as Toki, Tomokazu Seki as Deshico, Ryusei Nakao as Cornu, Genki Muro as Sunaga, Ruriko Aoki as Azuki, and Tomokazu Sugita as Holger. The English dub cast hasn’t been announced yet.
Why You Should Watch Beastars End

Watching the final part of Beastars Season 2 feels like the end of an era – it’s been seven years since the anime first came out! And it’s definitely shifted how people view CG animation. The success of Beastars has allowed Studio Orange to work on other big titles like Trigun Stampede and Trigun Stargaze, and everyone’s hoping they can finish strong. It’s a shame the final story arc has been so controversial, though.
The final season of Beastars feels very different from its beginnings and doesn’t quite have the same initial appeal. It’s reached a suitably dark tone for the story’s conclusion, and now it’s up to the animation to deliver a satisfying ending. Be sure to watch it on Netflix to see how it all wraps up.
