Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has several popular anime series scheduled to return later this year, and fans are eagerly anticipating their releases. As Japan’s leading action magazine, Shonen Jump has created many globally successful franchises, often thanks to their anime adaptations. While 2026 has already seen the return of some major titles, even more are on the way.
Anime fans have a lot to look forward to with upcoming seasons planned for Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2026. Five popular action series from Shonen Jump are generating a lot of excitement, and after successful previous seasons, they’re all scheduled to return in 2026. Here are five Shonen Jump anime comebacks you won’t want to miss.

5). One Piece: Elbaph Arc
The anime adaptation of One Piece is back, with new episodes starting April 5th and officially beginning the Elbaph Arc from Eiichiro Oda’s manga. This release is different from previous seasons; instead of weekly episodes, the series will now have seasonal releases of 26 episodes over several months.
The series was already great considering the quick turnaround, but this recent change suggests we might be entering a new phase of One Piece this spring. It’s incredibly exciting, especially with all the major events expected as the story heads into its final saga.

4). Dr. Stone Science Future Part 3
The popular anime Dr. Stone Science Future is back this April for its last season. This is the third part of a huge finale, where Senku and the Kingdom of Science will complete their final plans to rebuild civilization in a world turned to stone. With the series concluding in 2026, fans are especially eager to see what happens next.
This show is all about exciting science-based adventures, and it delivers a unique and entertaining experience you won’t find anywhere else. Learning something along the way is just a bonus!

3). JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run
On March 19th, Netflix will release a new installment of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, continuing the popular anime series. Following the events of Stone Ocean, the sixth part, this new season opens up exciting possibilities for future storylines. Steel Ball Run, the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s manga, is a highly anticipated adaptation that fans have been eager to see.
It felt like a distant hope, but we’re finally at this point in the anime! It’s set in an alternate version of 1900s America and centers around a cross-country race. With a cast of unique characters and incredible powers, there’s nothing quite like watching a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime come to life.

2). Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Final Season
The anime series Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will conclude this July with its final part. This adaptation finally brings the last story arc of Tite Kubo’s manga to life, something fans have waited over twenty years to see. The first three parts of this concluding arc have been praised for their stunning animation and improvements over the original manga.
So far, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has been a standout anime. The creator, Kubo, has used this opportunity to expand on characters and scenes that weren’t fully explored in the original manga, adding new details and depth. This version of the story feels like the most complete one yet, and fans are hoping it continues to be strong right up to the finale later this year.

1). Black Clover Season 2
Despite the return of several popular anime, Black Clover is generating the most excitement this year. After a five-year hiatus, the series is back to conclude the original manga by Yuki Tabata. The previous anime season ended on a major cliffhanger, and fans will finally see Asta and his friends battle the Spade Kingdom and the Dark Triad.
The Black Clover anime is reaching the end of its current story arc, which is good news because it avoids the problem it faced before – having to stop production because it caught up to the manga. Now, there’s enough source material for the anime to continue for many years. This return could even be the start of a series of major releases. It’s going to be a tough year to top!
