The PS5’s main screen, called the Welcome Hub, is occasionally updated with fresh wallpapers and new features.
Just a few weeks after its launch, the platform received an update with a new background design, taking inspiration from Bungie’s popular extraction shooter game.
This version doesn’t have animation or the cozy fireplace sounds that were included during the holidays.
Despite the film’s generally beautiful look, the red color used for the background feels a bit dull.
Sony could have delivered a stronger experience, but hopefully they’ll include more backgrounds inspired by the Marathon game if this title performs well.
