Spy x Family Delays Chapter 129 Without Any Prior Announcement

Endo announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the previously announced update scheduled for February 16th will not be happening. He apologized for the disappointment and asked for everyone’s understanding.

The last chapter ended with a shocking interruption – a mysterious group hijacked the broadcast, and their leader seized control to air their complaints. It’s certain that Yor, Loid, and Yuri will be caught up in whatever happens next.

Chapter 129 of Spy x Family was originally planned to be released on February 15th (or February 16th in Japan), but it has been delayed. The author apologized for the error and asked for fans’ patience. The next chapter is now scheduled for release on March 1st, 2026, as Spy x Family publishes new chapters every two weeks.

Spy x Family’s Anime Still Hasn’t Been Renewed For Season 4

Although the most recent season of the anime ended several weeks ago, there’s still no official word on whether it will return for a fourth season. Typically, a show as popular as Spy x Family would have a renewal announced right after the finale. Instead, the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account revealed plans for a special event on November 8th.

The event, called Extra Mission II, will feature the voice actors discussing their experiences working on the show. While an announcement about a fourth season is possible, it hasn’t been confirmed. Although a fourth season is almost certain due to the anime’s popularity, the delay suggests fans will have to wait longer to see what happens next in the story.
