Valentine’s Day has Travis Kelce feeling punny.

Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his brother Jason Kelce, who co-host the podcast New Heights, used his relationship with Taylor Swift as inspiration for some playful memes on Valentine’s Day. One meme, in particular, contained a suggestive joke.

The podcast cleverly referenced Taylor Swift’s song “Wood”—which hints at Travis Kelce—in a Valentine’s Day Instagram post. The card showed a photo of the NFL star smiling with the message, “Wood you be my Valentine?”

The carousel also included sweeter posts, like a photo of Travis, 36, making a heart shape with his hands while wearing his football uniform, with the caption, “You’re my greatest catch.” There was also a picture of him and Taylor, also 36, from her August appearance on the New Heights podcast, paired with a drawing of sourdough bread and the question, “Be my loaf story?”

The post also included a heartwarming message about Jason’s relationship with his wife, Kylie Kelce, with whom he has four daughters. A card read, “You’re the Kylie to my Jason,” as a sweet tribute to their love.

Taylor and Travis haven’t shared many details about their wedding plans, but Travis has said that Taylor has positively impacted him. He explained she’s helped him become much better at remembering things from his everyday life.

He explained to Kylie on her February 6th podcast, Not Gonna Lie, that he spends the whole day mentally cataloging the people he meets. For example, at a podcast party the day before, he was greeting lots of people – both friends and acquaintances of Taylor Swift from his football circles, whom he was introducing her to – and constantly reminding himself who he’d already spoken to. He said he was essentially making a mental list of everyone he encountered.

Travis acknowledged that some memories are clearer than others, and often those involving alcohol are particularly easy to remember.

He chuckled, saying he focuses so much on the small stuff, but then the beers kick in and he forgets everything. ‘It’s exactly how I end up with no memory of what happened,’ he explained.

As a huge Swiftie and a Chiefs fan, I’m already bracing myself for the possibility of Travis Kelce retiring after 13 seasons – it’s going to be so strange if he does! If he does hang up his helmet, it would mean he’s free to finally marry Taylor in October, which is her favorite month. Because she basically lives in the spotlight and is constantly celebrated like a bride, I really believe her wedding will be as private as she can possibly make it. She’s used to all eyes on her, so she’ll likely want this to be a truly intimate moment.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the celebration with everyone she loves, and she has a large circle of friends and family. Nikki jokingly added that she’s anticipating seeing photos of a helicopter flying overhead, somehow managing to disrupt the happy occasion.
