Wonder Woman is known as an ambassador for peace, but she’s also an incredibly powerful and capable fighter. Trained for centuries by the Amazon warriors of Themyscira, she’s one of DC Comics’ best hand-to-hand combatants. Although she prefers not to fight her fellow heroes, Diana has occasionally been forced to battle them. However, once a fight starts, she always sees it through to the end. Given her exceptional strength and skill, it’s no surprise that Wonder Woman often wins, even against some of DC’s most powerful superheroes.
Wonder Woman is incredibly powerful, and her fights with other heroes demonstrate just how strong she is. From practice matches to all-out battles, she’s consistently won when facing off against other superheroes.
7) Power Girl

Power Girl, an older version of Supergirl from a different universe, is one of the most powerful Kryptonians in DC Comics – strong enough to lift incredibly heavy objects like city-sized spaceships. In an issue of Wonder Woman, she was tricked into believing Wonder Woman had become a villain. Power Girl attacked Wonder Woman with such force that she sent her flying from Washington D.C. all the way to Canada. However, Wonder Woman, a more skilled fighter, was able to avoid Power Girl’s powerful blows and eventually take control of the situation. She then convinced Power Girl that she had been manipulated, bringing the fight to an end.
6) Big Barda

I’ve always been amazed by Big Barda – she’s truly one of the few beings who can go toe-to-toe with Wonder Woman in a fight! It was fascinating to see her journey in the comics, especially when she and Mister Miracle needed some space. I remember reading Mister Miracle #6 and being on the edge of my seat when she challenged Wonder Woman in that arena. Barda came out strong with her Mega-Rod, blasting energy, but Diana is just so clever. She disarmed Barda and then used her flight to completely outmaneuver her, eventually forcing her to yield. Honestly, even though Big Barda fought with incredible intensity, Wonder Woman’s quick thinking and skill ultimately won the day.
5) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

When Steve Trevor is captured in Justice League #11, Wonder Woman is determined to rescue him, even if it means going against her teammates. She attempts a solo rescue, but Hal Jordan tries to calm her down and prevent her from acting rashly. He creates a bubble to contain her, but Wonder Woman, furious, easily destroys it and knocks Hal down the street with one punch. Every time Hal tries to restrain her with his Green Lantern constructs, she breaks free, even slashing him with her sword. Though the Justice League eventually separates them, it’s clear that Wonder Woman is winning the fight.
4) Hercules

In DC Comics, Hercules is portrayed as a villain who mistreats and enslaves the Amazons, including Wonder Woman’s mother, Hippolyta. Because of this, when Wonder Woman encounters the Hercules from Marvel Comics during the JLA/Avengers event, she instantly believes he’s the same one who harmed her people. During a competition between the Justice League and the Avengers to find powerful artifacts, Wonder Woman attacks Hercules, overpowering the incredibly strong hero (who once lifted an entire universe!). She relentlessly fights and accuses him of attacking the Amazons – an act this Hercules never committed. After Aquaman secures another artifact, Wonder Woman leaves the defeated demigod behind.
3) Flash, Plastic Man, Black Canary, and Martian Manhunter

Wonder Woman proved her incredible skills in a remarkable feat: she defeated several of the Justice League’s strongest members while fighting blind. After losing her sight in a battle with Medusa, the League challenged her to ensure she could still be a hero. In Wonder Woman #212, Flash, Plastic Man, Black Canary, and Martian Manhunter all attacked her simultaneously. Despite their combined abilities – Black Canary’s fighting skills, Martian Manhunter’s strength, and Plastic Man’s shape-shifting – none could defeat her. Amazingly, even though she couldn’t see, Wonder Woman was able to keep track of the Flash, who can move at incredible speeds. Ultimately, Wonder Woman passed the test with flying colors.
2) Superman

Superman is known for his incredible strength, which he constantly has to control to avoid causing unintentional destruction. In the story arc “Sacrifice,” a villain named Maxwell Lord uses mind control to turn Superman against Wonder Woman, ordering him to kill her. Without his usual moral limits, Superman unleashes his full power on Diana, and their fight is incredibly destructive, taking them to the sun and back in mere seconds and even causing earthquakes. Despite a broken wrist, Wonder Woman continues to fight, repeatedly knocking Superman down. She finally manages to briefly incapacitate him by cutting his throat with her tiara, creating an opening to defeat Lord and free Superman from the mind control.
1) Justice League

Wonder Woman is capable of defeating the entire Justice League on her own, as shown in the story JLA: League of One. When she discovers a prophecy foretelling her friends’ deaths at the hands of a dragon, she takes action to ensure she’s the only one who faces the beast. In a single afternoon, Wonder Woman cleverly disables each member of the League: she traps Martian Manhunter in a volcano, takes Green Lantern’s power ring, leaves Aquaman at the mercy of a monstrous sea creature, and quickly knocks out both Flash and Batman. She also creates a crisis in space to distract Superman. Ultimately, Wonder Woman defeats the dragon and saves her team.
