One Piece Just Confirmed The Most Powerful Duo in The Final Saga

Be warned: This article reveals major plot points from the One Piece manga!

Following the intense events at Egghead, the Straw Hat Pirates land on Elbaph, the legendary island of the Giants. The Giants initially give them a warm welcome, but their celebration is cut short by the arrival of surprising enemies. With the final war looming, the Holy Knights are determined to enslave the Giants for Imu. Realizing the Giants are incredibly powerful, they resort to taking the children hostage to force their surrender. The situation becomes even more dire when Scopper Gaban, who knows the Holy Knights’ weaknesses, is forced to give up after his own son is threatened.

Things are getting absolutely wild in One Piece! Right when Luffy and the crew start figuring out what’s happening, the story dives deep into the past, finally showing us what really happened with King Harald and Rocks D. Xebec. We’re also getting a ton of backstory on Loki, and honestly, it’s making everything click! Now, with Loki’s powers and motives finally being explained, the series has just introduced what looks like the strongest pair of fighters we’ll see in this final saga – I’m so hyped to see what happens next!

Luffy and Loki Make The Strongest Team in One Piece’s Final Saga

Since gaining his Devil Fruit power, Luffy has become incredibly strong – a power level previously only seen in myths. He now shares abilities with legendary figures like Joy Boy and Sun God Nika, but can’t maintain his powerful Gear 5 form for very long. Even the Holy Knights are hesitant to fight him, as he’s one of the most powerful pirates in the world. Meanwhile, Loki is the strongest being on Elbaph, far surpassing Harald in strength. He possesses a legendary Devil Fruit that he’s proven worthy to use. The recent manga chapter, 1174, shows that this fruit allows him to transform into a massive dragon, capable of shaking the entire island and filling the sky.

The dragon we see now strongly resembles the one depicted in the mural from chapter 1138. Luffy and Loki’s partnership isn’t random; hints suggest something like this happened long ago during the Void Century. It’s likely Loki’s Devil Fruit was used before, possibly by someone who joined forces with Joy Boy against the twenty allied kingdoms. As Elbaph trembles with their arrival, Jarul reads a passage from Harley that describes a similar event from a lost era.
