Apple Martin Reacts to Rumor She Was Expelled From School for Bullying

Apple Martin is painting a sky full of truth.

Apple Martin, the oldest child of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, firmly denied a rumor that she was once kicked out of school for bullying someone.

Apple, 21, addressed a false story circulating online, sharing a screenshot of the original post to her Instagram Stories on February 16th. She stated, ‘I didn’t want to respond, but this narrative is completely untrue and has spiraled out of control. I have never been expelled from school, and certainly not for bullying.’

She acknowledged that not everyone likes her, and she’s fine with that. She explained that people are free to share their thoughts online, but she wanted to clarify that a recent rumor about her isn’t true. She insisted it doesn’t reflect who she is, and those who know her well would agree.

The model’s statement follows a year after she faced criticism online for appearing unfriendly in a viral video from Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris. The video, featuring fellow debutante Aliénor Loppin de Montmort, showed the model confidently posing and drawing attention for what some viewers considered a negative attitude.

Despite speculation about what her body language meant, she playfully responded by simply lip-syncing to a song.

In a TikTok video posted by Ava Crox in December 2024, Apple and her friends playfully declared, “We don’t understand why anyone would dislike us – we’re a joy to be around!” They went on to boast about their kindness and generosity, claiming they are genuinely caring people both online and in real life.

And Aliénor echoed the sentiment. 

In December 2024, she told People magazine that Apple is “truly the kindest person ever” and “doesn’t deserve any of the negativity she’s receiving.”

“She was the nicest girl ever,” she continued, “towards not only me but all the debs!” 

Apple hasn’t just been focusing on how Taylor Swift is seen by the public. She recently shared that she’s also had some cosmetic procedures done, as the Vanderbilt University student continues to be in the spotlight.

Apple revealed in a recent Vogue Beauty Secrets video that she once had lip filler. ‘I got it when I was 18,’ she said, ‘and I immediately thought it was too much.’

She explained that people often assume she’s had lip filler, but she clarified that she simply puckers her lips frequently and uses a lot of lip liner.

Apple recently shared a sweet memory of attending her first red carpet event with her mom and brother, Moses Martin, 19, at the premiere of Gwyneth Paltrow’s new film, Marty Supreme. She even wore a dress her mom had originally worn three decades ago.

It was one of those times where people kept saying I looked just like my mom, a total twin! And honestly, I loved it. What a compliment, right? I was thrilled!
