Red Dead Redemption 2 remains one of the best games ever made, and playing it now is just as enjoyable as it was when it came out in 2018. Rockstar created a fantastic Western adventure that expertly combines a compelling story with engaging gameplay, making it a top choice for anyone seeking a truly emotional gaming experience.
Even so, the game could always be a little better, and thankfully, its dedicated modding community has stepped up to address issues and add features players have wanted for a long time.
Starting the modding process can be tricky, especially figuring out which mods are compatible. Luckily, there’s a pre-made modlist available that includes everything you need for a complete overhaul of your game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Is By Fans, For Fans
Rockstar Games
You can find a comprehensive modlist for Red Dead Redemption 2, called ‘Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate,’ on Nexus Mods. It includes a wide range of improvements – everything from small quality-of-life tweaks to major changes in realism, appearance, and how the game plays.
So, I built this modlist to really make the game feel more immersive and realistic. It’s not just about gameplay changes, though – I’ve added a ton of visual improvements for characters and the world around you. Just a heads-up, though, all those pretty graphics might push your graphics card a little harder than you’re used to!
Mods such as Enhanced Brawling make the game’s already good hand-to-hand fighting even more detailed with new moves. Other mods, like Crime and Law Rebalance and Enhancement, significantly improve the often-problematic legal system by getting rid of trivial offenses and making law enforcement AI smarter.
This Is A Massive Overhaul For Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar Games
This modlist is incredibly ambitious and extensive. Installing all of it will fundamentally change the game, leaving almost no original features unaffected.
Despite these additions, all the modifications respect the original game’s design and don’t make the game too easy. Some changes, like those to the sheriffs and combat, even increase the difficulty, which is great for players who want a tougher experience.
Red Dead Redemption 2 fans can download it for free right now, so if you’re in the mood for a Western adventure, check it out!
