Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans Shares Where Son Jace Is Currently Living

Jenelle Evans is focusing on her family.

Approximately two months following the announcement of her eldest son, Jace Evans, residing with his father, Andrew Lewis, in Florida, she disclosed that the teenage boy had returned to live with her again in North Carolina.

In a recent interview with People on July 18, Jenelle shared some updates about Jace. He’s doing well and is back at home, not residing with his father anymore. He’ll be beginning the 11th grade soon. As for hobbies, he’s taken an interest in skateboarding lately, which seems to be his current passion.

The television personality, mentioning that he’s been at home for several months, found himself contemplating the remarkable maturation process of the 15-year-old.

Janelle commented that the transformation from a young boy into a teenager is astounding, since he turns 16 in August. She finds it hard to believe how quickly time is passing, so she’s cherishing each moment before he turns 18 and may choose to move on.

The most recent news follows Jenelle, who is mother not only to her 11-year-old son Kaiser from a past relationship but also to her 8-year-old daughter Ensley with ex David Eason; Jenelle had earlier mentioned that Jace moved in with Andrew due to persistent behavioral issues.

Jace is currently living with his father and also his grandmother from his mother’s side, whom he hasn’t seen since infancy, according to Jenelle’s TikTok post in May. However, people might perceive this as a difficult situation, but those close to them view it as a beneficial change for him.

In her home, she acknowledged that the challenges with her son’s mental health, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Major Depressive Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), have been a significant issue.

She stated that managing a child with such defiant behavior is extremely challenging. These kids often misbehave intentionally to seek attention, showing no regret for their actions and lacking any understanding or compassion for the impact of their deeds.

Jenelle and her mother Barbara Evans have been grappling with a longstanding problem, but they chose not to publicize it to safeguard their son Jace’s privacy. They eventually decided that the frequent occurrences of this issue over many years necessitated action.

Jenelle asserted that it wasn’t an easy decision to come to.
