The BAFTAs 2026 cameras are officially rolling. 

The British Academy Film Awards, also known as the BAFTAs, began today with a red carpet event at the Southbank Centre in London. As expected, many of Hollywood’s leading actors and actresses attended, showcasing their stylish outfits.

Consider Teyana Taylor, for example. The star of One Battle After Another, and a nominee for Best Supporting Actress at the ceremony hosted by Alan Cumming, wowed everyone in a stunning Burberry gown.

I was instantly drawn to the outfit – it totally gave me classic trench coat vibes! It had this amazing, oversized collar, a really flattering belted waist, and the look was finished off with these incredible, matching boots that just made the whole thing pop. The actress, known for her bold fashion choices, recently revealed where she finds inspiration for her memorable outfits.

In a recent TikTok video filmed during Paris Fashion Week, she explained that Harlem has always been a source of style and inspiration, and that it’s become even more of a fashion hub, especially for her generation.

What kind of clothes does Teyana Taylor gravitate towards? It’s a very personal thing, something only she truly understands. She describes fashion simply as self-expression: if she sees something she likes, she wears it.

The 35-year-old, who shares daughters Junie, 10, and Rue, 5, with her ex-husband Iman Shumpert, has revealed that her daughters often have the last word when it comes to what she wears, even for events like the 2026 Golden Globes.

Teyana shared with Justin Sylvester on Live from TopMob: Golden Globes 2026 that her daughters are her toughest fashion judges, but they really enjoyed the event and looked great that night.

And who could miss Emma Stone’s minimalist Louis Vuitton look at this year’s BAFTAs?

In an August interview with Vogue, Louis Vuitton’s women’s artistic director, Nicolas Ghesquière, described actress Emma Stone as someone who appreciates well-made clothing, not just trends. He explained that she’s interested in the details of how clothes are made and enjoys a collaborative back-and-forth—comparing their creative process to a lively tennis match.

Michael B. Jordan always brings his style to awards shows, and the 2026 event was no exception. The actor, nominated for a BAFTA for his role in Sinners, wore a sharp navy and black suit with a touch of sparkle on the lapel.
