Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) has taken a turn for the worse in EastEnders.
The character has been struggling with their mental health lately, and things have gotten worse since their son, Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), was diagnosed with epilepsy – a condition the character feels responsible for.
A teenager was seriously injured in the head after a fight with his father, who had unknowingly been given something by Nicola and Harry Mitchell (played by Laura Doddington and Elijah Holloway) intending to harm him.
Everyone panicked when Ravi didn’t come home. He’d fallen into a pit at the garage and started having vivid hallucinations of his deceased father, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
Lashing out towards the villain, he was unaware that Nugget was actually stood in front of him.
After leaving the hospital, Nugget had a seizure that worried his parents. Shortly after, he began seizing while driving, so they immediately took him back to the emergency room.
Doctors confirmed that he had likely developed epilepsy.

Today on the show, he collapsed while waiting in line at McKlunky’s. Luckily, his close friend Denzel Danes (played by Jaden Ladega) quickly helped him and called for Ravi, as the other teenagers looked on, shocked.
Nugget was upset to discover he’d had an accident and quickly went to his room. Ravi felt terrible for missing it and promised his girlfriend, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), that he’d do everything he could to be a better father.
They were startled to realise that their son had gone missing, and Ravi rushed out.
Nugget sat in the park, thinking about his day, before he needed to go to the pharmacy. Ravi had offered to go with him to pick up his medicine, but then something unexpected happened.

The pharmacist discovered a mistake with the medication and believed it was probably still in the stock room. Unfortunately, he was working alone and couldn’t leave the counter to retrieve it himself.
Ravi explained that he wasn’t prepared to wait any longer, and wanted the pills immediately.
Ravi was standing in line when Bea Pollard (played by Ronni Ancona) moved ahead of him. As she approached the counter, Ravi unexpectedly locked the pharmacy door and told the employee to serve her.
Will everyone be OK, or will Ravi spiral even further?
