Many Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) enthusiasts eagerly await the potential release date for the second season of Moon Knight, following its debut in March 2022 that was both praised by critics and viewers. Although the show had a successful first run, it’s been more than three years since then, leaving fans wondering if they will be able to revisit this intriguing, multi-layered character again.
So, when could Moon Knight Season 2 come out? Here’s what we know.
What is the Moon Knight Season 2 release date estimate?
It’s currently unclear when Moon Knight Season 2 will be released, as Marvel Studios hasn’t made a decision yet – whether to cancel or renew the series, keeping its future up in the air.
At the moment, it appears that Oscar Isaac, known for his role as Steven Grant/Marc Spector in Marvel’s shows, is occupied with various other endeavors, including Frankenstein, Flesh of the Gods, and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. On the other hand, Marvel Studios seems to be deeply involved in preparing for their upcoming event, Avengers: Doomsday.
On television, we can look forward to Marvel series such as Vision Quest and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, due out next year. As for Moon Knight Season 2, if it gets renewed, production may not start before 2026 or 2027, making a release date in 2028 or later possible. However, it might be scheduled after the conclusion of the Multiverse saga.
