Ed Skrein will portray Baldur, the Norse god known for his role in beginning the story of the 2018 God of War game, in the new TV series coming to Amazon Prime.

The show has been renewed for two seasons. The first season follows Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they travel to scatter the ashes of their loved ones, Faye. Throughout their journey, Kratos attempts to guide Atreus in becoming a worthy god, and Atreus, in turn, tries to help his father reconnect with his humanity.
