Running With Scissors is creating a new first-person shooter called Flesh & Wire. It’s a psychological horror game inspired by the earlier POSTAL games and is planned for release on PlayStation 5 and PC (through Steam and GOG) in 2027.
According to Running With Scissors founder Vince Desi, the team has been discussing the concept for Flesh & Wire with their community for quite some time. He explained that while POSTAL allowed them to develop their satirical style, Flesh & Wire represents a return to the dark, psychological horror that the studio originally became known for.

Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Okay, so I just started playing Flesh & Wire, and it’s seriously messed up – but in a good way! It’s a first-person shooter that feels like a really dark, psychological trip back to the original POSTAL games. You play as this woman named Angel, and her life gets completely turned upside down when some crazy gunman attacks her. Now she’s stuck in this insane, nightmare world trying to figure out what happened and get revenge. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart!
