With March 2026 fast approaching, it’s time to start planning what anime series you’ll be watching! The Winter 2026 season is currently airing, and many popular shows like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 will be finishing up around the end of March or early April. If you prefer to watch multiple episodes at once rather than weekly, you might want to explore options outside of these currently airing series.
Crunchyroll offers a huge selection of anime shows for fans of every type, making it the world’s biggest dedicated anime streaming service. You’ll find both popular favorites and hidden gems. If you’re searching for what to watch in March 2026, here are 10 series that are sure to please.
10) Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World

The fourth season of the anime will premiere in April, making now a great time to start watching or revisit the series. It’s based on a popular light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki, with illustrations by Shinichiro Otsuka, and is known for its fascinating powers and well-developed characters.
Subaru Natsuki’s ordinary trip home from the store took a bizarre turn when he was suddenly sent to a different world. He soon discovered he had a strange ability: whenever he died, he could go back in time. Now, he must rely on this power to stay alive in this unfamiliar place.
9) Wistoria: Wand and Sword

Another anime series is coming back with new episodes this April! If you enjoy action-packed fantasy like Black Clover, you’ll definitely want to check out Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Plus, it’s written by Fujino Omori, the author behind the popular Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
Will Serfort dreams of becoming a Magia Vander – one of the kingdom’s five most powerful magicians. There’s just one problem: he can’t use magic at all. Despite this, Will relies on his incredible physical strength as he embarks on a dangerous journey, hoping to find his childhood love.
8) Link Click

Link Click is a Chinese animated series, and many fans consider it one of the best mystery shows available. A third season is scheduled to release in Fall 2026. If you enjoy suspenseful stories with crime and supernatural elements, this series is definitely worth checking out.
The story centers around Xiaoshi Cheng and Guang Lu, who run a unique shop called “Time Photo Studio.” They help people try to correct past mistakes. Xiaoshi has the ability to step into old photographs and inhabit the body of the person pictured, while Guang explores the past simply by viewing the photos.
7) Dr. Stone

The anime series, based on the popular manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, will finish its story with a final set of episodes releasing in April. This thrilling, post-apocalyptic series stands out for its original storyline and continues to improve as the central mystery unfolds.
Nearly four millennia in the future, a strange green light turned all of humanity to stone, bringing an end to the world as we know it. When high school genius Senku Ishigami unexpectedly awakens, he discovers he’s immune and holds the secret to reversing the petrification. Determined, he sets out to use his scientific expertise to bring people back to life and rebuild society.
6) Yona of the Dawn

The anime series Yona of the Dawn is getting a sequel! It was announced in December 2025, ten years after the first season ended. To coincide with the announcement, the original manga has also finished its run but is now releasing extra side stories.
This fantasy story takes place in a historical setting and follows Princess Yona and her protector, Hak, after the king is murdered. Yona is devastated to learn that her childhood friend, Soo-Won, was responsible for her father’s death. She then sets out on a quest to find meaning in her life and, along the way, gathers trustworthy companions who help her work towards a brighter future for the kingdom.
5) Dandadan

Fans of Dandadan can look forward to Season 3 next year, which promises to cover what many consider the best story arc from the manga. The show is known for being a fun and engaging watch, mixing humor with heartfelt scenes, all brought to life by the stunning animation of Science SARU.
Momo Ayase is fascinated by ghosts, but her classmate, Ken Takakura (Okarun), is obsessed with UFOs and aliens. They jokingly bet on who’s right – ghosts or aliens – and quickly find themselves caught up in a series of strange and unpredictable supernatural events.
4) Kaguya-sama: Love is War

The popular anime, based on the acclaimed manga by Aka Akasaka, is concluding with a final movie. Although a release date is still to be announced, the movie will likely leave out some parts of the original story. The series centers around Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, the student council president and vice president of Shuchiin Academy, and their playful battle to confess their feelings for each other.
Everyone at school thinks they’re a perfect match, despite coming from different worlds – and they’re both incredibly smart! But even though they like each other, they’re too proud to admit it. The story follows their funny attempts to make the other person confess their feelings, turning their romance into a playful competition.
3) Solo Leveling

I’ve been keeping an eye on Solo Leveling, and it’s been over a year since Season 2 came out with no news about a third season yet. Given how incredibly popular the show is, I’m pretty confident it will return eventually, but it looks like we’re in for a longer wait this time around.
The huge success of Solo Leveling is largely due to its exciting and dynamic fight scenes, following Sung Jinwoo’s incredible growth in power. After a life-or-death experience, he gains access to a unique system that makes him stronger while also revealing the hidden realities of his world.
2) Demon Slayer

With its beautiful animation from Ufotable, compelling characters, and engaging story, Demon Slayer is a series you’ll want to watch again and again. Last year, the first movie in the Infinity Castle arc broke box office records, earning over a billion yen worldwide. Now, it’s coming back to U.S. theaters in March in SCREENX, making it a great opportunity to revisit or discover the series.
The story opens with a terrible tragedy: the Kamado family is brutally attacked, and when Tanjiro returns home, he finds everyone has been killed except for his sister, Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon. Determined to save her and restore her humanity, Tanjiro begins a dangerous quest to become a Demon Slayer, working tirelessly towards his goal.
1) Dragon Ball Super

Fans of Dragon Ball Super have a lot to look forward to this year! A new movie will reimagine the epic fight between Beerus and Goku. Plus, the anime series will continue with a new season based on the Galactic Patrol Arc from the manga. The story will pick up after the Tournament of Power, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
This series continues the story after the original manga, picking up with the Z Fighters following their victory over Majin Buu. It then introduces a brand new world filled with gods and strong fighters from across multiple universes.
