I’m really excited to hear that Peaky Blinders is finally coming to the cinema! It sounds like they’re bringing back all the characters we already love, plus introducing some fresh faces. As a huge fan, I can’t wait to see how it translates to the big screen.
Cillian Murphy is returning as Tommy Shelby in ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man,’ a new film set during World War II. Four years after seemingly dying, Tommy is pulled back into action when his son, Duke (played by Barry Keoghan), takes control of the Peaky Blinders gang and endangers the family with his ruthless tactics.
The new 1940s drama will feature a full soundtrack of 36 songs, including five newly recorded tracks. Notably, Nick Cave has re-recorded his famous song “Red Right Hand” specifically for the film.
The album features fantastic performances from Australian singer, Fontaines DC, Lankum, Girl in the Year Above, and McLusky. It also includes two particularly noteworthy covers of Massive Attack songs.
Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, known for their work on the music for Peaky Blinders, created the original score for the film.
