Liquid Swords’ new game, Samson: A Tyndalston Story, created by Christofer Sundberg (known for Just Cause), comes out on April 8th. It will be available on PC for $24.99. A new trailer showcases the intense action players can expect, both on foot and with vehicles.
In this game, you play as Samson, who returns to Tyndalston to pay off a large debt. But the debt grows over time, and the city’s reaction to your choices makes things increasingly difficult. Each day, you have a limited number of actions you can take, and your decisions have lasting consequences.
While playing Samson, you won’t find a lot of deep strategy. Instead, fights are chaotic and rely on using your surroundings to your advantage – like throwing enemies into hazards or grabbing whatever makeshift weapons you can find. The game world, created by Sundberg, isn’t completely open; it blends detailed, content-packed areas with a story-focused experience.
The main story will likely take around ten hours to complete. But with different choices leading to different outcomes, there’s good replay value. You can find more information about the price and why this game offers so much for the money here.
