The Claudia Winkleman Show confirms first starry guest line-up – including Hollywood legend

The first episode of The Claudia Winkleman Show, which will air on BBC One in two weeks, will feature a fantastic group of celebrity guests.

A new talk show premieres on Friday, March 13th at 10:40 PM. It’s taking over the timeslot previously held by The Graham Norton Show, which is currently showing best-of episodes for the next two weeks.

The series begins with a splash as Claudia Winkleman welcomes Jeff Goldblum, recently seen in the film Wicked: For Good. He’ll be chatting about his new album, Night Blooms, with his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

Also joining us on the couch are Vanessa Williams, talking about her role in the West End production of The Devil Wears Prada, and Jennifer Saunders, who’s here to discuss her new family movie, The Magic Faraway Tree.

Joining the show is Tom Allen, who will be discussing his first novel, Common Decency.

The announcement about ‘The Claudia Winkleman Show’ came late last year, not long after Claudia Winkleman revealed she was stepping down as the host of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Winkleman expressed her excitement in a statement, saying she was thrilled and grateful for the opportunity from the BBC. She jokingly admitted she’d likely be terrible, but was delighted they were giving her a chance anyway.

According to Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC, Claudia is a beloved and talented personality. She’s known for being warm, funny, and consistently engaging, and has a remarkable gift for making everyone feel comfortable and shine – whether they’re famous celebrities or everyday people.

We’re thrilled she’s getting her own show on the BBC, and we know viewers will love watching Claudia and her celebrity guests!
