This weekend, February 27–March 1, 2026, Netflix has three exciting new shows perfect for binge-watching. These series are currently popular across a range of genres, and our top choice has quickly become the most-watched show on Netflix worldwide, hitting #1 just hours after it launched.
With a fresh season of a popular sports documentary, a hilarious new 9-episode comedy from Germany, and the return of a favorite romance series, Netflix offers three fantastic shows perfect for a binge-watching weekend at the end of February 2026.
Formula 1: Drive To Survive
As a huge F1 fan, I was so excited to see the latest season of Drive To Survive dropped on Netflix this past Friday, February 27th! Season 8 is shaping up to be really interesting – we get to follow six brand new drivers joining the circuit, and even see a seven-time World Champion up close, all showcased at London’s O2 Arena. The best part? All eight episodes are available to stream right now, so it’s perfect for a binge-watching weekend!
Since its release in 2019, Formula 1: Drive to Survive has become one of Netflix’s most successful and well-regarded sports documentaries. The series is exciting even for viewers who aren’t fans of racing, thanks to its quick tempo and the genuine, high-pressure situations it portrays.
Crap Happens
I just stumbled across a new German comedy on Netflix called Crap Happens, and it’s pretty funny! It dropped on Thursday, February 26th, and if you enjoyed shows like Free Bert, I think you’ll really like this one. It’s a quick watch too – nine episodes, each around 35 minutes long. I’m planning to binge it this weekend!
The show Crap Happens centers around Toni, who goes back to his hometown of Schitten for a funeral and unexpectedly finds out he has a teenage son he didn’t know about. It’s a good choice if you enjoy shows that blend humor and heartfelt moments.
Bridgerton
After the release of the final four episodes of Bridgerton season 4 on Thursday, the show quickly became a huge hit, reaching the #1 spot on Netflix’s streaming charts both globally and in the United States.
The second part of Bridgerton season 4, which began in 2020, centers on the romance between Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, a story reminiscent of Cinderella. Viewers on IMDb have already given this concluding portion of the season positive feedback.
Now that the first part of Bridgerton season 4 is out – it came out last month – it’s the perfect time to jump back into this popular Netflix series. Everyone will be talking about it this weekend as February 2026 comes to a close, so don’t miss out!
