Lisa Rinna has buried the hatchet with Andy Cohen.
After Andy shared private messages with Lisa about her departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in his book three years ago – a move that strained their friendship – Lisa says they’ve now made up and are friends again.
Everyone changes and learns from their experiences, and Andy and I are no different,” Lisa told TopMob News. “We’ve definitely had our disagreements – I’ve upset him, and he’s upset me – but we’ve been through a lot together, and he’s a truly good friend.”
She continued with a laugh, “He’s always been a champion—until he hasn’t.”
Andy, 57, expressed a similar feeling after having a sincere conversation with Lisa, 62. He apologized for his behavior when she recently returned to Watch What Happens Live for the first time since their disagreement.
Lisa described their reunion to TopMob as a beautiful and deeply meaningful experience, saying it felt ‘life-changing, healing, and cathartic’.
She explained that they have a lot of respect and care for each other, and she was deeply touched by their support. It meant a great deal to her.
Is Lisa coming back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after leaving last year? She said simply, “No.” She added that she appreciates her time with Bravo and everything she learned there.

Despite being eliminated from the latest season of The Traitors by fellow Traitor Rob Rausch, Lisa Rinna says she doesn’t blame him. Viewers still saw glimpses of her familiar personality during her time on the Peacock series before being banished in the seventh episode.
The two are now working with Sonic, appearing in a video where he tries to win her over with Sonic Smasher burgers.
Lisa joked that she actually screamed when they asked if they could do it all over again. “It was just so much fun,” she added.

She also expressed only positive feelings for the former Love Island USA contestant, who ultimately won the entire $220,800 prize.
Lisa praised his incredible performance, saying he truly earned the victory. She also described their connection as feeling like a mother-son dynamic.
She added that she feels very protective of him, and they still talk regularly as he adjusts to his growing fame. She admitted he was likely intimidated by her initially, but believes he now recognizes she offers helpful guidance.

Deception is a key part of the game in The Traitors, but players are randomly assigned to be either a Traitor or a Faithful player. However, beginning with season two, contestants like Phaedra Parks and Kate Chastain were given the opportunity to argue their case to host Alan Cumming.
The selection process for who plays the Traitor is crucial, and Alan’s input is a big part of it,” explained executive producer Mike Cotton in an interview with Variety. “It’s similar to a job interview – we carefully consider each contestant and make a final decision right before the selection. Our goal is to create a dynamic group with diverse skills and personalities.
The players didn’t initially know how many Traitors were among them. Cirie Fields, a winner on Survivor, explained to TopMob News in 2023 that they were told at the start of the game there could be anywhere from three to five Traitors.

Players were also asked to swear the Traitors’ oath, which involved promising to lie, deceive, and even potentially eliminate other players each night. They also had to commit to keeping their own identity, and the identities of their fellow Traitors, hidden.

To get a sense of who might be good at deceiving others, the show uses a personality test for the contestants. As Cotton Variety explained, this helps identify traits that could make someone a convincing liar. However, the producers don’t actually know who the Traitors are until Alan Carr secretly selects them during filming.

Alan Cumming was thrilled to join the project, especially because it allowed him to bring his dog to work. He explained to The Daily Beast in 2023 that the role reminded him of a James Bond villain, and when he suggested including his dog as a playful addition, the producers loved the idea. That’s what convinced him to sign on.
With his rescue dog, Lala, by his side, he fully embraced his on-camera role, peppering his delivery with quotes from playwright William Shakespeare and philosopher Plato. He described his performance as intense, explaining, “I was really getting into character.” He also admitted to improvising a lot, sometimes receiving lines directly in his ear, which he likened to doing stand-up comedy – making it up as he went along.

While the actors film at the beautiful Ardross Castle in Scotland, they don’t get to live there during production.
Cumming told the Daily Beast that the cast and crew didn’t actually stay at the castle. Instead, they stayed at a hotel near the Inverness airport. He personally had a room in the castle, but only used it to get ready – a space with a large bed where he’d often nap, but never spend the night.

The show almost featured a much more dangerous challenge. According to creator Marc Pos, he initially planned to film on a ship off the coast of Australia, where losing contestants would have to swim to an island. However, he realized this would be too difficult and expensive to film, so he scrapped the idea.

Contestants didn’t have access to the entire castle. According to Cotton, who spoke with Variety, they’re using just one section—a wing of the castle—as the playing area, along with all the outdoor space. They’re free to move around within that designated area.
He pointed out that with room for around thirty bedrooms, complete privacy would be difficult. While people could spread out and talk separately, the space was still small enough that conversations could be overheard or someone could be seen slipping away for a private discussion.

It makes sense that Rachel Reilly, known from Big Brother, found car rides to and from competitions to be the perfect opportunity to strategize with other players. She told Reality Blurred, “You’re isolated, and no one can overhear your conversations.” Compared to being in the house, where you “have to whisper,” the car offered much more privacy.

Players weren’t allowed to discuss strategy at the hotel. As season two contestant Dan Gheesling explained to Business Insider, talking about the game when cameras and microphones weren’t rolling was against the rules. The show couldn’t use any important information shared off-camera.

Chrishell Stause, from season three of the show, also shared that they weren’t provided with a hair and makeup team. She told Us Weekly that she “would’ve died to have glam in the castle,” but Alan didn’t permit it.

Getting the ‘Faithful’ to bed in separate rooms each night and then letting the ‘Traitors’ out for their meeting is like a huge military operation,” Cotton explained to Variety.
Even though Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan were a couple during season two of the show, they weren’t permitted to share a room. According to executive producer Sam Rees-Jones, producers felt allowing them to do so would have given them an unfair advantage.

Despite the rules, Reza Farahan from Shahs of Sunset tried to add some playful mischief. He told Digital Spy he attempted to slip notes under contestants’ doors while he was supposed to be confined to his room. The notes jokingly accused them of past deeds, signed ‘The Traitors,’ as a way to enjoy the game despite the restrictions.

The filming schedule is demanding, with the team aiming to complete an entire episode each day. According to producer Rees-Jones, this fast pace is intentional – it helps the cast stay focused and maintain the immersive atmosphere of the show. While it creates a lot of pressure, they believe it’s the best way to ensure quality. A typical day involves breakfast, a planning meeting, a mission, and a murder mystery, then they start the process all over again. Stause mentioned that some nights they didn’t return to their rooms until 2 a.m.
According to Cotton, who spoke with Variety, breakfast on set is carefully scheduled with actors arriving at different times. However, the meals themselves don’t last very long – usually no more than an hour.

Producers of reality shows likely limit alcohol consumption to keep contestants focused. Ekin-Su Culculoglu, winner of Love Island and a participant on season two of The Traitors, explained to Entertainment Weekly in 2024 that contestants were only allowed one alcoholic drink per night, describing the rules as “quite restricted.”

Even though it’s often difficult to find genuine support from other players, everyone on the show has a dedicated welfare team member looking out for them. According to Mercedes Javid, a popular contestant from last season, these team members are constantly checking in and are both cheerful and professional, making the contestants feel well cared for.

When it comes to building relationships on camera, contestants don’t find out who their competition will be until they arrive in Scotland. Casting director Deena Katz told Time that this is intentional – they don’t want people to research each other or make plans beforehand. However, once the game starts, players are given information about each other and a journal to keep notes.

Cumming jokingly refers to himself as a “Traitor,” referencing the social deduction game he enjoys. In a 2023 interview with the Daily Beast, he explained that players often accuse each other of being traitors based on flimsy evidence. He gave the example of someone being labeled a traitor simply because he touched them, highlighting how easily accusations can be made in the game.
