Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have been busy defending their marriage in the best possible way.

They just keep staying married.

Justin and Hailey are approaching their eighth wedding anniversary in September, and they’ve become a prime example of a couple who successfully grows together. They’ve proven wrong those who doubted their relationship would last, especially given the challenges faced by young, famous couples.

Many people questioned whether Hailey and Justin Bieber had gotten married too quickly, and Hailey admitted in a 2019 Vogue interview that marriage is incredibly difficult. She emphasized this point, saying, “It’s really, really hard.”

The lesson here is that even though things can be challenging, the founder of Rhode and her Grammy-winning husband are dedicated and working hard to succeed.

With Justin turning 32 on March 1st, and having grown up in the public eye, his biggest priority is being a good partner and father to his 18-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber.

Hailey emphasized the importance of a supportive partner and shared responsibilities, explaining that she’s currently working while her son is happily at home with his father, as she shared on February 13th at Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in Australia.

As is Jack’s dad, who traveled a long road to get to this place.

In a 2020 interview, Justin Bieber explained his dedication to personal growth, saying he’s willing to do whatever it takes – even if it’s difficult – because he understands his well-being impacts everyone around him. He believes becoming a better person will allow him to be the best possible husband, father, and friend.

Back in 2019, Hailey shared with Vogue that she and Justin were in couples counseling and working hard to build a strong, healthy relationship.

I won’t pretend it’s easy or perfect,” she said, now 29 years old. “It will always be challenging. It’s a deliberate decision… but even with the difficulty, there’s something wonderful about wanting to work for something meaningful and build a life with someone else.

And their retrofitted foundation would soon come in handy.

Hailey shared with Harper’s Bazaar in July 2022 that she believes life is constantly evolving. She pointed to the past six months as a clear example, noting that both she and her husband had faced significant health challenges – Hailey underwent heart surgery to fix a hole in her heart that was discovered while being treated for a blood clot causing stroke-like symptoms.

Justin experienced temporary paralysis on one side of his face due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. He had also been diagnosed with Lyme disease and Epstein-Barr virus back in 2019.

Hailey explained that you just have to take things as they come and handle challenges when they arise. She emphasized that the phrase ‘for better or for worse’ is genuinely true to life.

She later shared on Good Morning America that despite the difficulties, there was a positive side: going through tough times together actually brought them closer. She explained that supporting each other and being there for one another created a strong bond.

Still, Hailey understood why her marriage to Justin was initially mistaken for a lark.

In a 2022 episode of Call Her Daddy, the model admitted that things moved incredibly quickly between getting back together in May 2018 (after initially dating two years prior), getting engaged in July, and then getting married just two months later.

Hailey said it felt like a big and unexpected decision, but it was something they both agreed on and felt was right for them at the time. She believes they made the correct choice, as they’re still together four years later.

In an interview with Vogue Australia in early 2023, Hailey shared that her favorite part of being married was the strong companionship she and her husband shared. She described him as her best friend, saying she couldn’t imagine spending time with anyone else or doing anything without him.

Despite all of that, rumors continued to circulate that the couple was getting divorced.

In February 2024, rumors began circulating after Hailey Bieber’s father, Stephen Baldwin, shared a prayer request for his daughter and her husband on Instagram. He hasn’t publicly stated why he asked for prayers.

Hailey recently shared on Instagram that the rumors and unverified stories circulating on TikTok are almost always untrue. She explained these stories are completely fabricated and come from a place of fantasy. While she understands it can be entertaining to speculate, she wanted to clarify that they’re never based in reality. She apologized for ‘spoiling the fun.’

The couple announced Hailey’s pregnancy in May, and their son, Jack, was born on August 22, 2024. However, focusing on family time at home led to speculation about difficulties in their relationship.

Hailey Bieber described the postpartum period as the most challenging time of her life, explaining that adjusting to who she was becoming was incredibly difficult. She added that constantly seeing online speculation about her marriage – rumors of divorce and unhappiness – was deeply upsetting and mentally draining.

His later albums, Swag and Swag II, showcased his developing artistry. Tracks like “Daisies,” “Dadz Love,” “Better Man,” and “I Do” explored themes of love, marriage, becoming a father, and his dedication to family life.

As Hailey shared with Vogue last year, she values her personal life above all else. She explained that she loves waking up to her family, son, and friends – people who truly know and love her, and whom she loves in return.

You know, watching Justin perform ‘Yukon’ at the Grammys recently, I could just feel how happy he and Hailey are. Seeing them together, it’s clear all the effort they’ve put into building a strong marriage has absolutely paid off. It was a really sweet moment, and honestly, so inspiring!
