PlayStation Plus Users Have 48 Hours to Claim 4 Games for Free

PlayStation Plus members have a limited time – 48 hours – to grab up to four free games, depending on their PlayStation console. PS5 subscribers can claim all four, while PS4 subscribers can claim three, as one game is exclusive to PS5. If you claim the games before March 3rd, you’ll keep them as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member. Even if your subscription temporarily lapses, you’ll still be able to play the games until you renew.

PlayStation Plus members – on all tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) – have about 48 hours to claim four free games on their PlayStation Network accounts: Ultros, Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Just so you know, Undisputed is the only one of these games that’s currently available on PS5. You’ll find more information and trailers for each game below.

Undisputed

Undisputed is a boxing video game developed by Steel City Interactive and published by Deep Silver. Released in 2024, it’s the first officially licensed boxing game in over a decade, following 2011’s Fight Night Champion.

Undisputed is usually priced at $41.99 on the PlayStation Store and has a Metacritic score of 70. While it’s mainly an online boxing game with endless replayability, there’s also a single-player story mode that takes about 15 to 20 hours to complete.

Ultros

Ultros, released in 2024, marked the first game from developer and publisher Hadoque. The game was well-received, earning an 81 score on Metacritic and proving to be a strong start for the new studio.

Usually, the vibrant metroidvania game costs $24.99 on the PlayStation Store. Players can expect to spend around 10 to 20 hours completing it, depending on how they play and how much of the game they aim to finish.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a flight combat simulator and the newest installment in the Ace Combat series, which began in 1995. Later this year, however, a new game, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, will be released.

Bandai Namco released Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown in 2019, and it received a score of 80 on Metacritic. The game is usually priced at $60 on the PlayStation Store and can take anywhere from 10 to 70 hours to complete, depending on how you play.

Subnautica: Below Zero

Released in 2021, Subnautica: Below Zero is a continuation of the story from the original Subnautica (2019). It serves as a link between the first game and the upcoming Subnautica 2, which is expected to be released later this year.

Subnautica: Below Zero, created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, is a survival game where you explore the depths of the ocean. It has a Metacritic score of 82 and typically costs $29.99 on PlayStation. Players can expect around 20 to 30 hours of gameplay.

If you’re not excited about these free PlayStation Plus games, or you’ve already downloaded them, don’t worry! March’s new free games will be available on March 3rd, the same day these current games are removed.
