On Channel 5, Carol (age 65) and Melvin (age 44) reunited for the revival of the show “Celebrity Brain Teasers,” where they were accompanied by Jeremy Vine and actress Sally Lindsay.
This was their initial encounter since they last met, sparking fervor among fans, as it turned out that Melvin had confessed to having a showbiz crush on Carol towards the end of last year, leaving her pleasantly surprised.
They appeared joyful upon their reunion, as Carol showed images of herself and Melvin, who is twenty years younger, snuggling affectionately on the film set.
In another instance, Carol, known for her flawless skin and striking figure, intertwined her arm with her fellow host, both of them striking a pose for a photograph while donning leather pants.
The duo posed together for a quick self-portrait too, with Carol leaning her head on Melvin, both of them grinning, while Carol was adorned with a bold red lipstick.
In a video shared on Instagram by Carol, it was evident that there was a playful atmosphere between the two, as the host hinted: “Can you guess who I’m with?”, to which Melvin promptly responded: “Today is unforgettable – the best day so far.
In her post, the woman (who has graced our television screens for over forty years) referred to Melvin as an exceptional individual.

In the latest season of I’m A Celebrity, Melvin surprised his fellow campers by selecting a pillow adorned with Carol’s likeness as his pick for a luxury item.
Upon its arrival, Melvin shared the reason for the ex-Countdown host’s placement on his pillow. He simply stated, “Dad, Mum, and Carol Vorderman – my crushes.
‘I have been a fan of Carol Vorderman for a very long time – in fact, I have a little rap.’
Then he declared: ‘I know a woman who is exceptional, as refined as a high-quality wine. Men find it hard to grasp how exceptional she is, reminiscent of a perfect 10 like Carol Vorderman, charm! I’m eager to get to know her better, so feel free to reach out to me via DMs.’
Carol, being well-versed in the program, promptly reacted and messaged him through the spin-off show titled “I’m A Celebrity… Get Together”.
She stated: ‘Melvin, or perhaps I should refer to him as the “Jungle Man”, Melvin Vorderman. Now, I’ve got a query for you, Melvin. Did it seem to you that you were tailing me? It’s just, last night I had a bit of Thai cuisine…’
She continued by saying: ‘Wilderness dweller, carry on with your current work, it’s fantastic. I’ll catch up with you later.’
After departing from the jungle, Melvin felt compelled to message Carol on Instagram, yet he shared in a conversation with GK Barry on his Saving Grace podcast that Carol ignored him, or “ghosted” him.
In the intense atmosphere of the jungle, everyone seemed to be putting pressure on me. Once I returned home, I felt compelled to reach out to Carol via direct message, since those managing my online presence mentioned that she had been a remarkable source of comfort and support during my stay in the jungle.
He gave me his phone number and asked for a call, but she hasn’t read it yet after three weeks. I still glance at it every week just in case.
At long last, they finally reunited on a Wednesday, some six months following Melvin’s departure from the jungle, during the third installment of Celebrity Puzzling, which has recently resumed its broadcast.

Following the news that the show would come back on air, Carol shared her joy after being appointed as a team captain last month, expressing how thrilled she was about it.
