Bravo fans are about to be awoken by a familiar voice.
Carole Radziwill, who left The Real Housewives of New York City eight years ago, is coming back for season 16. She’ll be joined by new cast members Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank.
The network announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Carole Radziwill will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City as a ‘friend of’ in Season 16. They highlighted her enduring popularity with Bravo fans, quoting her season 10 tagline, ‘In the marathon of life, loyalty is everything,’ as a reason for her return.
The 62-year-old also signaled her return by sharing and responding to excited fan posts on Instagram, even playfully hinting at it with a “See you soon” message.
Fans of RHONY will recognize the Emmy-winning journalist, but the show is also welcoming new cast members: Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye. They’ll join the rebooted series – which features an entirely new group of women – as filming begins this week in New York City.
Carole joined the fifth season of RHONY in 2012 and quickly became popular with viewers thanks to her calm and relaxed personality. She developed a strong friendship with original cast member Bethenny Frankel, but they eventually had a falling out. Carole left the show after season 10 in 2018. She was previously married to Anthony Radziwill, who passed away in 1999.

After leaving the show, Carole engaged in a public disagreement with Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen, openly sharing her criticisms of the series. Fortunately, they resolved their issues on an August episode of Watch What Happens Live, and Carole later attended BravoCon in November 2025.
In addition to her career as a journalist, Carole was a close friend of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, wife of John F. Kennedy Jr. She wrote about their strong friendship and the pain she felt after the couple tragically died in a plane crash, an event that occurred just weeks before her own husband passed away from cancer. She shared these memories in her 2005 memoir, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love.

Bravo’s show about Washington D.C. featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t really make an impression on viewers. It also included one woman so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll be talking about her later.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Utah had a dramatic and ultimately short-lived run. In January 2022, Jennie was let go from the show after old, offensive Facebook posts with racially insensitive content came to light. She later issued an apology, but the show decided to terminate her contract.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama during season 16, and her short-lived marriage issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t very exciting. But we’ll always remember when she got noticeably drunk on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward—but surprisingly fun—dinner party.

The nurse anesthetist’s first season was a disaster, best remembered by the embarrassing incident now known as ‘Esophagus-gate.’

Katie frequently discussed her charitable efforts, but she didn’t offer much else when filming. She made brief appearances and didn’t really engage with the other cast members as a friend. And leaving the group trip early? That’s a major mistake for a Housewives cast member.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, and, of course, her famous champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

Although Peggy brought some much-needed diversity to the cast, she became quite irritating during season 12. She frequently started strange arguments, often over misunderstandings of simple words, and her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip showed she wasn’t suited for the demands of being a Real Housewife.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a dramatic and unbelievable accusation: she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother was a witch. It was disappointing to see this storyline take center stage instead of Nneka and Wendy connecting over their Nigerian heritage. We hoped they would find common ground, but their conflict remained unresolved.

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16, though it often felt chaotic. While viewers sympathized with her personal issues – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce just before filming began – it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that really kept her from being overlooked. Perhaps with more time on the show, she’ll win viewers over.

It’s rare to see a Real Housewife’s reputation decline so quickly. One season she was a peacemaker, and the next she was making constant complaints – even over a thrown cake – and falsely accusing others of anti-Semitism, ultimately leading to her departure from the show.

Amber and Jim both appeared to be acting out of desperation. However, Jim seemed much more caught up in the problems than Amber, which didn’t look good for him.

From what we can gather, Karent was a dentist, and it seems her colleagues didn’t care for her much. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

As a longtime fan of RHONY, I always felt bad for Jules. Her time on the show was way too short to really make a lasting impression in terms of ranking the Housewives, but honestly, she brought the drama! She definitely made her time count, even if it was brief.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina was a successful Arab woman who skillfully balanced a modern lifestyle with her cultural heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts and, at times, was less noticeable than her more outgoing co-stars.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a positive impression, but it’s hard to get a complete sense of her personality after just one season of the show.

Though known from America’s Next Top Model, this reality star didn’t make a big impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta beyond being visibly pregnant throughout her time on the show. She did deliver a memorable confrontation with Marlo Hampton during a trip to Tokyo, though!

Generally, we like to see how a new Housewife does over at least one full season before ranking them highly. However, Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging veteran cast member Heather Dubrow. It takes real courage to question someone as established as Heather!

To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a great addition to the show because of her wealth, we were turned off by how she constantly used her private jet to try and control the other cast members during season seven. It just didn’t sit right with us.
Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Sara had a cheerful and optimistic attitude, which made her a nice person to be around, though things were rarely exciting with her – except for the memorable occasion when she gave her co-star, Caroline Brooks, some parenting advice that wasn’t appreciated. More importantly, she challenged common ideas about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and that’s something to celebrate.

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into the familiar pattern of New Jersey Housewives, getting caught up in a season-long, ultimately meaningless argument that even Andy Cohen pointed out was trivial. Sadly, their second season didn’t offer much more depth or substance.

Larsa Pippen didn’t stand out much during her first season on the show. When The Real Housewives of Miami returned in 2021, a major focus of her story was her past friendship with Kim Kardashian – and her side hustle selling photos of her feet online.

Oh my gosh, after seeing Ana on Bravo, I was SO excited when she tried out for Next Food Network Star in 2016! I really thought she had it in her, but sadly, she didn’t make it past the competition. It was still amazing to see her try, though!
