Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the One Piece manga! The current Elbaph Arc in One Piece continues the battle against the Holy Knights, following the revelation of how Harald truly died. Harald fought for decades and sacrificed his own honor for the sake of Elbaph, but was ultimately betrayed by the World Government and turned into a puppet by Imu. Knowing he’s running out of time before losing control, Harald asks his son, Loki, to end his life using the power of a legendary Devil Fruit. The manga has shown that this Devil Fruit is a rare Mythical Zoan, allowing Loki to transform into a massive dragon.
Loki joins Luffy on the surface to confront the Holy Knights who are attacking his home and holding children captive. While the Holy Knights are strong, they are outmatched by Loki’s incredible abilities. Loki’s powers aren’t just for appearances; they’re deeply connected to a hidden history that the World Government has tried to bury. The current storyline is revealing more about the world’s past, and Loki’s role is proving to be more important than anyone initially thought.
One Piece Reveals Loki’s Devil Fruit Powers And Its Connection to Imu

Jarul is a legendary figure and one of the oldest Giants on the island of Elbaph. He’s knowledgeable about the past, thanks to studying the ancient writings of Harley, though he hasn’t been able to understand everything. When Loki appears, Jarul reveals Loki’s Devil Fruit is the Dragon-Dragon Fruit, a rare Mythical Type with the form of Niddhoggr.
Eating this fruit turns you into a massive dragon, but how big depends on the person. To unlock the fruit’s full power, it needs to be consumed by an incredibly large, ancient Giant – far bigger than any normal Giant. Stories say the resulting dragon is so huge it can darken the sky and breathe lightning. Interestingly, there’s a link to the Sun God, as a powerful warrior from Elbaph, who had the abilities of a special fruit, used a weapon called Ragnir to become a dragon and battle Nika.
Nika existed long before the time of Joy Boy, suggesting the fruit’s origins are far more intricate and enigmatic than we first thought. The end of the most recent chapter reveals that Imu observed Loki’s change and excitedly mentioned finding Niddhoggr, hinting at a link between these events and the mysteries of the Void Century.
