Marvel Studios recently updated its official timeline of all 37 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Ever since the MCU began, dedicated fans have been meticulously tracking the order of events. With each new movie release, many Marvel fans immediately work to pinpoint exactly where it fits into the overall timeline.
Disney+ has become a surprisingly reliable source for tracking the order of events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The platform’s Marvel section includes a timeline that’s been very helpful for fans. However, due to some licensing issues, certain movies and shows haven’t been included on the timeline – until recently.
For the first time, the complete timeline of movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is now available. Previously, Spider-Man: No Way Home was the only film missing from the official MCU chronology on the streaming service. With the film’s recent addition to the service in several regions, the timeline is now fully up-to-date.
Now that No Way Home is available for streaming, viewers can watch all 37 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in chronological order on the service. Spider-Man: No Way Home falls between Eternals and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the timeline.
See the complete MCU timeline order below:

The full release schedule isn’t available yet in the U.S. While Spider-Man: No Way Home hasn’t hit Disney+ here, now that it’s streaming in other countries, a U.S. release is likely coming soon. The next Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, Wonder Man, will be available on Tuesday, January 27th.
When Will the MCU Timeline Be Complete on Disney+ in the U.S.?

Despite having a 37-movie timeline, Disney+ in the U.S. still doesn’t have the complete Marvel Cinematic Universe collection. Most notably, Spider-Man: No Way Home is still not available on the service, making it the only Tom Holland Spider-Man movie missing from the platform after years of waiting.
Now that No Way Home is available on Disney+ in some countries, it’s likely to arrive on the U.S. service soon. With plans for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in development, Marvel Studios has a strong reason to make it happen and add No Way Home to their U.S. streaming lineup.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets closer to finishing its Multiverse Saga, it will be interesting to see if the established order of timelines continues to matter in future stories.
The next Avengers movies, Doomsday and Secret Wars, are expected to significantly change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s timeline. They’ll likely bring in heroes from different eras and alternate universes, creating a major shift in the story. This could lead to a complete reset of the franchise, potentially happening while filming in the U.S.
