Blake Shelton Shares Glimpse Into Farm Life With Gwen Stefani

Country singer Blake Shelton shared that he and his wife, Gwen Stefani, are working hard to renovate a section of their Oklahoma farm.

In a video posted to Instagram on March 4th, Blake announced that he and his wife, Gwen, are starting a serious gardening project this year—essentially, they’re going to be farming.

The 49-year-old playfully shared an old photo of Gwen, 56, when she had braces, and also highlighted the garden they’ve been building together.

Yesterday, it was just my wife and me setting out this plastic sheeting. It was tough work, but we’re planning to grow vegetables here.

Blake shared that he and Gwen, who got married in July 2021, are planning to grow sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, and squash, but he especially wanted to mention one other thing they’ll be producing.

My stepdad always joked that cucumbers were only good for making a snowman’s nose, but I’m going to plant some anyway,” he said with a smile. “I don’t really eat vegetables myself, but it should be a fun project.”

Let me tell you, everyone was buzzing about Blake and Gwen, wondering if their marriage was on the rocks! Before he could share their exciting new venture – they’re starting a farm! – he had to quickly squash those rumors. It’s always tough when your personal life gets so much attention, but they’re doing great and focusing on this new chapter together. It’s so refreshing to see a couple building something together, literally and figuratively!

He recalled first seeing reports about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani splitting up around October or November. Speaking on the Country Countdown USA radio show in January, he said the articles then claimed they weren’t even seeing each other and were heading for divorce. However, just a week later, a photo surfaced of them together, leading to headlines that they were back together.

Blake said he doesn’t trust anything he sees online anymore, stating, “I really don’t believe it.”

So, when it comes to loving his honey bee, the country singer knows his true feelings.

Last month, Blake Shelton shared a sweet Valentine’s Day message to Gwen Stefani on X (formerly Twitter), posting a photo of them kissing and writing, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day @gwenstefani! My favorite person… I love you pretty girl!!!!!’

Gwen Stefani says her style has become much more feminine lately, which she attributes to being in a loving relationship with a very masculine partner. She explains that during her time with No Doubt, and even well into her thirties, she didn’t see herself as particularly sexy and generally preferred a more tomboyish look, rarely even carrying a purse. She now feels comfortable embracing and expressing her feminine side.

Gwen was surprised when Blake was asked to do a photoshoot after being named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive. He’s not a fan of photoshoots and usually resists, but Gwen excitedly encouraged him, telling him he should do it because she thinks he’s very attractive.

Gwen described Blake as captivating and exceptionally talented, saying he has a magnetic personality that draws people in. She playfully compared him to a unicorn, highlighting how unique and special he is. She shared these thoughts during a September 2019 interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

Blake Shelton tweeted in June 2018 that watching Gwen Stefani rehearse reminded him of how many incredible, popular songs she’s written. He strongly suggests seeing her Las Vegas show if you have the chance to get tickets!

Blake shared on Good Dish in March 2022 that someone saved him from a really low point in his life. He described it as being rescued from a fall, saying this person always supported him, and that feeling was incredible. He’d never experienced that level of unwavering support from anyone before.

Gwen shared with People magazine in November 2024 that she always dreamed of marriage, a loving family like her parents had, and having children. When those plans fell apart, she had to rebuild her life and create a new vision for her future. She sees meeting Blake as a turning point, a blessing that helped her do just that.

Gwen described meeting her husband as a turning point, a fresh start after a difficult time. She explained that when her family broke up, it felt devastating, and she struggled to recover. However, she believes meeting him was a blessing, giving her the love she needed to heal and move forward, as she shared with The Guardian in November 2024.
